$27 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

Hello, my name is Hattie! I am a graduate from Western Washington University and recently moved to the Seattle area. I offer child care, pet care, and housekeeping services. I have five years of experience caring for toddlers and school age children, and two years of experience in infant care. However, I have been a sitter for friends and family now and then for about eight years. I love children and specifically enjoy crafting, cooking, and reading with them. I have past experience giving music lessons and tutoring so I am happy to incorporate that into child care as well! Additionally, I love pets and have extensive experience with dog and cat-sitting. I am able to board them in my home, care for them in your home, and/or do daily visits. I have experience with all breeds, so no pet is out of the question. Finally, I can offer household services, such as cleaning, cooking, laundry, running errands, general house sitting, and yard work!

Hattie was responsive, on time, very professional and great with my kids. She played with them the entire time and kept them entertained. My kids warmed up to her immediately and even my son, who is in a VERY clingy mommy stage (20 months old), stayed with her. She had no problem with both my son and 3 year old daughter.

Chloe 1 review
$25 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Seattle, WA

Hello, my name is Chloe! I grew up in Eugene, Oregon, and recently moved to Seattle after earning my bachelor's degree in Child Development and Family Sciences and a post-baccalaureate in Communication Disorders and Sciences. I am currently pursuing a career in speech-language pathology because I am passionate about supporting children's growth, development, and communication. Working with children has always been the most rewarding part of my life. I currently work with toddlers at a Montessori daycare and have experience working in preschool and K-5 classrooms, including student teaching. I'm patient, dependable, and love incorporating art, imaginative play, and hands-on activities into my work.

Brett $22 per hour for 1 child

Hiya! My name's Brett. I'm a childcare worker and teacher with seven years of professional experience with children aged 4-12. I currently work as a tutor at two elementary schools here in Seattle. I've previously worked as a behavioral interventionist, student mentor, and summer camp counselor. My life's passion is bringing happiness to children, encouraging their learning and creativity, and just having fun! My childcare approach is based on empathy, responsibility, and compassion. When children are treated with respect and held accountable for their actions, it teaches them to be responsible, independent, and have a strong sense of self-worth. Outside of childcare, I love writing (fiction and poetry), drawing, reading, video games, and spending time in the outdoors. I am CPR and First Aid certified, and trained in various health and safety procedures. I'm fully vaccinated for COVID-19.

Eduarda $31 per hour for 1 child

Hello Families! My name is Eduarda, and I’m originally from Brazil. I’m currently living in the United States and have experience caring for children of different ages through my au pair journey. I truly enjoy spending time with kids and creating a safe, fun, and caring environment where they feel comfortable and happy. I would describe myself as responsible, patient, energetic, and very loving. I love engaging children with activities like arts and crafts, games, outdoor walks, music, movies, and creative play. I also understand the importance of routines, communication, and making sure parents feel confident and at ease while their children are in my care. Being away from my own family taught me a lot about maturity, adaptability, and empathy, which I bring into my childcare style every day. I always try to build a genuine connection with the families I work with and become someone both parents and children can trust. I’m happy to help with light housekeeping related to the kids, meal/snack preparation, bedtime routines, and keeping children entertained in a positive and attentive way. I would love the opportunity to meet your family and help however I can. Thank you for considering me! I look forward to connecting with you! Best, Eduarda
