I’m currently looking for occasional, one-off, or part-time work to supplement my income and support families who need a reliable extra set of hands. I grew up booked and busy as a babysitter and nanny, and caring for others has always come naturally to me. My experience includes driving to/from activities, organizing arts & crafts/fun learning experiences, tutoring/homework help, cooking meals, and keeping children engaged, safe, and happy. For 6 years I worked as a swim coach, coaching children ages 5 - 18 and introducing infants and toddlers (ages 1 - 4) to the pool. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in supervision, patience, communication, and adapting to different ages and personalities. Professionally, I’ve spent the last 10 years as an Executive Assistant to CEOs, where I honed my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. I’m proactive, calm under pressure, and intuitive about anticipating needs - skills that translate into caregiving and household support. I’m also an animal lover through and through. I grew up with dogs, lived with a cat after college, and have no allergies. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, administering basic care, and giving pets lots of attention. Lastly, I was a caretaker for my grandmother for a short time - assisting with basic senior care including cooking, transportation to appointments, and companionship (I’m a great cribbage partner!). I’m dependable, respectful, and genuinely enjoy helping and supporting others. I was raised in a household where everyone pitched in, so I’m very comfortable with cooking, cleaning, errands, and general household help. I’m a very reliable, patient and creative person who has approximately 5 years of experience working with children as a professional Fairy hosting birthday parties and developing imagination. I have always enjoyed working with children. After finishing my degree in Psychology in 2021, I had the opportunity to travel to Brazil to work with the United Nations on one of the 17 Sustainable Development Goals (Quality Education) for 2 months, where I taught Spanish and organized educational activities for children. My experience in childcare has been truly vocational and inspiring for me. I cared for a boy for six months, from 1. 5 years old until he turned 2. Then, I took care of a second child from 9 months until he was 2. 5 years old. Currently, I am taking care of a little girl since she was 4 months and she is now 2 years old! Hello! My name is Frances and I am a creative and fun-loving person who has a lot of experience working with children of all ages in various capacities. I started my childcare journey by helping to raise my little sister who is ten years younger than me and I've continued to grow as a childcare professional through adulthood. I've worked as a camp counselor at the Woodland Park Zoo where I was responsible for many children at once, I've volunteered as a creative writing teacher at an elementary school, and one of my greatest accomplishments is becoming a Certified Behavior Technician and working six months implementing and running treatment plans and therapeutic intervention designed by ABA therapists for children with autism of various ages (ages three to sixteen). I cook and clean, I'm CPR/First Aid certified, I love pets, and I have a safe car and a clean driving record. I am a molecular biology student at UW and I currently work part time as a Phlebotomist with the hopes of attending medical school in the future.
