Booked by 1 family in Seattle, WA

Hello! My name is Karolina. I’m originally from Ukraine and speak both Russian and Ukrainian fluently. I’ve always loved being around children and have grown up helping to care for them, which has given me plenty of hands-on experience. I recently got married this past March and am now looking for a wonderful family I can work with long-term. I’m currently a college student studying accounting and am open to both part-time and full-time opportunities while I continue my studies. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to assist with light household tasks and help keep things tidy. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little about me—I look forward to the possibility of working with your family!

My name is Molly. I live in West Seattle with my fiancée and pets. I am a student at Seattle Central College studying pre-nursing. I have been babysitting part time for the past year while in school and offer services in childcare. I have experiences with children of all ages. I worked as a certified medical assistant for 3 years in urgent care and sports medicine before taking time off to go back to school. My experience in childcare primarily comes from helping take care of my four nieces for the past 16 years. I also volunteered as a camp counselor for a Girl Scouts day camp every summer for 6 years, as well as for a 5th grade trip to Camp Colman. I also have experience with pediatric patients while working as a medical assistant. I am more than happy to implement your routine and parenting techniques while you’re away. I am quite flexible, if you have any questions please reach out!

Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

I have a long experience working with children all ages. I love being around kids, playing, teaching and having fun with them. I’m a very responsible, caring person that you can depend on me while you’re away.

Lubna did a great job with our daughter, engaging her, redirecting her when needed, and chatting with her. We also appreciated her quick responsiveness and willingness to come at the last minute when we had another sitter cancel. We would definitely recommend her to other families!

Ruth Seattle
$30 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Ruth and I am a retired children's librarian and a former lead teacher in an after-school program in West Seattle. I am looking for occasional work providing babysitting or cat sitting services or a nanny position. Is your regular nanny ill? Babysitter cancelled? I can fulfill last-minute requests, too. Highly creative, I have a master's degree in library and information science, specializing in children's services. As a librarian, I provided children's story times and created both craft and STEM programs. I enjoy being with kids and exploring books, art and nature. I have two cats, Susan and Linda, who are litter mates. They began life as feral, abandoned kittens who were terrified of people. They're now four years old and both are big lap cats. I also occasionally care for the cats of two households in West Seattle. I usually spend about a half an hour in the home, talking and playing with the cat, feeding, and cleaning the litter box. I grew up with dogs, and love them, too, so working with a family with dogs is A-okay with me! A licensed driver with clean record, I rely on public transportation to get around. I look forward to meeting you and your family.

Mabel 2 reviews
Seattle
$26 per hour for 1 child

Hello! I have been babysitting since I was 14 years old with ages 1 yr up to 12 years old. Additionally, I grew up in a big family taking care of my nieces and nephews since they were babies. I have a full time job as a behavior technician providing ABA therapy for kids with Autism and have worked in this field for the past 5 years with ages ranging from 2 years old to adulthood. I love babysitting and would love more opportunities to do so! Love engaging kiddos in crafts, homework, games, and fun activities.

Mabel is such a caring and wonderful babysitter! She is so sweet and my 2 kids adore her. She is reliable and always on time and is flexible with her hours. She has great professional experience with kids and our children always look forward to spending time with her. I would highly recommend her if you’re looking for a dependable and experienced babysitter.
