Jack Seattle
$22 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Jack, I am 23 years old and born and raised in Seattle. I want to become a music teacher and in the winter will begin my classes for a teaching degree. Right now I am offering childcare, pet care, and house sitting. I am an older brother of a little sister and a baby brother so I’ve been watching kids and babysitting since I was 12. Outside of my own family, I babysat through high school, including large groups of kids (group of 6 kids all under 13yo) and have experience working with kids professionally in the Seattle public system and briefly at a public middle school in Oakland CA. I also love pets! If you have any furry friends who need some attention I have lots of experience with cats and dogs. I have fostered kittens and older cats including behaviorally challenged cats. I have experience with large breeds as my family owns a Rottweiler, and I have experience dog sitting behaviorally challenged dogs as well. Some special experience I have is with instrumental coaching and beginning music skills. I also have lots of experience outdoors fishing, hiking, rock climbing, I’d be happy to take adventures outdoors or go out for activities. Please feel free to ask any questions about my experience!

Rebekah Seattle
$20 per hour for 1 child

Hello, I’m Rebekah 😊 I have almost 10 years of experience working with children in various settings. When I was in high school I taught dance to 3-10 year olds and had a consistent babysitting job. My undergraduate degree is in Elementary Education. I have worked in several formal and informal educational settings (day camps/overnight camps/after school programs/childcare centers). A couple of years ago I moved to Seattle and am now working full time as an administrative assistant. I’m looking for an occasional - to part time babysitting position. Some of my favorite movements working with kids include making crafts, exploring nature, fun science experiments and playing card games. I am currently only certified for Adult CPR in addition to general first aid. I have received Infant child CPR certifications in the past. After graduating college I received my preliminary teaching license. However, at the time I went to work in outdoor education settings. Due to this, my teaching license expired around 3 years ago. I have experience working with kids in Montessori settings. Also, I have a lot of experience caring for dogs and cats. Percy and Hercules are my cats and I am the main sitter for my sister’s two dogs.

Julia 2 reviews
Seattle
$24 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 2 families in Seattle, WA

Nanny with many years of varied experience available for one child (age 3+). I genuinely enjoy talking with kids and standing back a little to allow them to grow and bloom. I love reading (same book, ten times in a row!), art and literacy. I would be interested in helping a child where primary language in the home is not English (I have TESOL certificate). Zero interest in screen time, for myself or for the child. I enjoy physical activity and being outdoors. Excellent companion to any child who might benefit from occasional hours of one-on-one attention during periods of transition or overwhelm. Thank you!

Booked by 1 family in Seattle, WA

Hello! My name is Karolina. I’m originally from Ukraine and speak both Russian and Ukrainian fluently. I’ve always loved being around children and have grown up helping to care for them, which has given me plenty of hands-on experience. I recently got married this past March and am now looking for a wonderful family I can work with long-term. I’m currently a college student studying accounting and am open to both part-time and full-time opportunities while I continue my studies. In addition to childcare, I’m happy to assist with light household tasks and help keep things tidy. Thank you so much for taking the time to learn a little about me—I look forward to the possibility of working with your family!

My name is Molly. I live in West Seattle with my fiancée and pets. I am a student at Seattle Central College studying pre-nursing. I have been babysitting part time for the past year while in school and offer services in childcare. I have experiences with children of all ages. I worked as a certified medical assistant for 3 years in urgent care and sports medicine before taking time off to go back to school. My experience in childcare primarily comes from helping take care of my four nieces for the past 16 years. I also volunteered as a camp counselor for a Girl Scouts day camp every summer for 6 years, as well as for a 5th grade trip to Camp Colman. I also have experience with pediatric patients while working as a medical assistant. I am more than happy to implement your routine and parenting techniques while you’re away. I am quite flexible, if you have any questions please reach out!
