Yisel 1 review
$30 per hour for 1 child

Why should a family choose me as a nanny? I am Yisel from Colombia, responsible, honest, fun, open-minded, patient, loving, dedicated, happy and pet friendly person. I love spending time with children, helping them to grow up happy, sharing my culture with them, teaching them my mother tongue and learning new things. I am a language teacher in my country, I speak Spanish, English and French, I worked as a teacher in a daycare for two years and I have experience as a nanny for more than 6 years and 3 years of nanny sharing with the same families, I love helping my children reach their creative potential and develop a harmonic cognitive process. I believe that a variety of activities are essential for the development of children. Also, the closeness to nature and engagement in building things with their own hands will stimulate their eagerness to explore and experiment. I like the key "learning by playing" because it corresponds to reality and what I like doing with children. And you can be sure that your children will have rewarding experiences with me. It would be great to become your friend, contact person, and role model for your children. I love children and care about them, so their well-being and safety are most important to me. What activities would you like to do with your host children? Depending on the ages and the climate, I would do the following activities with the children: • 0 - 6 months: Early stimulation activities with water, sand, tempera and clay. Roll balls with sound, encourage crawling, rhythm with toys, feeding support and nursery rhymes. • 1 - 2 years: Activities that help them develop their early stimulation. Play with water balloons, threading games, fishing afternoon, sandbox, games with music, games with tempera paint and rope toys. • 2 - 5 years: Dance activities to the rhythm of music, building blocks, drawing pictures with different paintings, going up and down steps, drawing, painting silhouettes, taking them to the park, teaching them my mother tongue and helping them are their language.

Yiyi worked as a part-time nanny for our son when he was 1 to 2 years old until we moved away to California. She is so kind, attentive, easy to work with and be around and helpful. She took our son out on adventures, did art projects with him ( she is a talented artist), read, sang, danced and actively engaged him. She is easy to communicate with, responsive and very reliable. I love that she speaks Spanish and English and exposed our son to Spanish. I don't think she was sick 1 day that she worked with us. She goes above and beyond, when I asked if she would be willing to come over when my husband had to be on a work trip while I was pregnant with our second child and had the flu, she said yes. I am forever thankful for her care during those very hard days. She became a part of our family and we still stay in touch. I highly recommend Yiyi!

Suzanne $25 per hour for 1 child

I am the proud mother of two young adult children who are now making their way in the world, and I am still their biggest cheerleader. As a former federal employee, I bring reliability, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility. Gardening is one of my mini passions, and I currently do part-time gardening work. I also have many years of experience, caring for children and babies. If chosen, I would be honored to care for your children, and will make sure they are safe, supported, and having fun under my guidance.

Renn $25 per hour for 1 child

I am a (current) mental health therapist and experienced nanny looking for time-limited gigs (like vacations) or evening & weekend opportunities, including nannying/babysitting, house sitting, household management, travel nannying, pet sitting or other related tasks. I was a long-term nanny for families in the Seattle area from 2[removed] and 2018-2022. I also have experience with household management and organization/systems implementation to help households run smoothly, as well as ample experience with pet sitting. I have a 10 year old doodle myself who is the sweetest pup you’ll ever meet! I have also nannied for 3 kids for a week while their parents went on vacation, and we had a blast! I am a mental health therapist by day, with afternoons/evenings and weekends available. To be transparent, my long-distance partner and I are looking to relocate in the next year, and we want to save some extra funds to ease the move & extend time off together. I could add more therapy clients, however, I quite enjoy nannying (and other related jobs) and it would be a lovely change of pace. If you’re looking for a long-term person, I won’t be the best fit. But if you need someone to watch your pets on vacation, household organizing, weekend babysitting or vacation coverage, I am great at what I do and will provide a fun, safe, and interactive experience for anyone in my care.

Rebecca $20 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Rebecca (I also go by Beck) and I am offering childcare and pet care services. I have been involved in various aspects of childcare for many years from volunteering in preschool and elementary classrooms to babysitting and being a stay-at-home carer for my nephews. In the past I have worked with children from young infancy to preteen age. For the last several years I've worked professionally in theatre costume shops and theatre camps so if you have a crafty kiddo I have a lot I can share! Pets have always been a part of my life and at one point I was studying to become a vet tech. I have the most experience with large dog breeds but I am comfortable with any breed. I am also available for cat sitting.

Madison $25 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Maddie, and I offer child care, pet care, senior care, and household support. I’m currently looking for occasional, one-off, or part-time work to supplement my income and support families who need a reliable extra set of hands. I grew up booked and busy as a babysitter and nanny, and caring for others has always come naturally to me. My experience includes driving to/from activities, organizing arts & crafts/fun learning experiences, tutoring/homework help, cooking meals, and keeping children engaged, safe, and happy. For 6 years I worked as a swim coach, coaching children ages 5 - 18 and introducing infants and toddlers (ages 1 - 4) to the pool. These experiences helped me develop strong skills in supervision, patience, communication, and adapting to different ages and personalities. Professionally, I’ve spent the last 10 years as an Executive Assistant to CEOs, where I honed my organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills. I’m proactive, calm under pressure, and intuitive about anticipating needs - skills that translate into caregiving and household support. I’m also an animal lover through and through. I grew up with dogs, lived with a cat after college, and have no allergies. I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, administering basic care, and giving pets lots of attention. Lastly, I was a caretaker for my grandmother for a short time - assisting with basic senior care including cooking, transportation to appointments, and companionship (I’m a great cribbage partner!). I’m dependable, respectful, and genuinely enjoy helping and supporting others. I was raised in a household where everyone pitched in, so I’m very comfortable with cooking, cleaning, errands, and general household help. Whether you need childcare, pet care, senior assistance, or help keeping things running smoothly, I’m happy to step in. I look forward to connecting!
