I am 28 years old. I have worked with children from infants through school age. Former teacher at Kindercare, and am background checked through the Department of Early Learning. I am a Certified Nursing Assistant in the state of Washington. I am also CPR certified for infants through adults. I love story time and tasks that use the children’s imaginations. I have a passion for helping children learn new things and grow. I also love taking the children to the park, zoo, etc. so they can have fun and use up their energy in a positive way. I am also a mother of two and my oldest is level 2 on the autism spectrum and has adhd so I do have lots of experience with special needs as well.

I am the proud mother of two young adult children who are now making their way in the world, and I am still their biggest cheerleader. As a former federal employee, I bring reliability, patience, and a strong sense of responsibility. Gardening is one of my mini passions, and I currently do part-time gardening work. I also have many years of experience, caring for children and babies. Hi my name is Shalyn! I’m a psychology major at CWU and am getting my degree through their online program so my schedule is very flexible. My dream job is an elementary school counselor. I am offering childcare, pet care, help with household needs and running errands. I have a car and a spotless driving record. I am wilderness first responder certified, which includes emergency first aid, rescue training and CPR a certification. I am the oldest kid of my parents friend group and the oldest grandchild so I have been watching after my younger sister, cousins and neighbors most of my life, but I have officially started babysitting (aka getting paid) since I was 14. I have worked with kids from ages 2 to 12. I have experience with potty training, changing diapers and children with allergies. I also have experience with working with kids with additional needs. I am knowledgeable and capable of creating fun craft projects and educational activities suitable for ages 2 to 12. My family has had dogs and cats my entire life and I’m extremely comfortable around them and love them a bunch. I am also comfortable around any other animal. I have experience cleaning and generally upkeep of a house. I also have a lot of experience cooking and baking and I have been told that I am very good.

Hi - My name is Cheri and I have cared for preemie babies to grade school age. My daughter had quintuplets so I had the unique experience of caring for all ages and many kids at the same time. I love reading to children and playing games with them or just listening to what they have to say. I love to take walks with children and point out wild flowers and birds and squirrels. I have a corgi and walk him on the Clear Creek trail often and if parents would like me to walk with their kids at Clear Creek it is an amazing safe and interesting place for kids. I also am willing to assist with household stuff and running errands. I love cats and dogs so I’m open to feeding or taking walks with pets. My last job was working with people with special needs in a work environment. During that time I worked with young people with autism and Down syndrome. I’m seeking part-time hours and would be available to care for families in Silverdale, Poulsbo and Bremerton.
