Hi my name is Shalyn! I’m a psychology major at CWU and am getting my degree through their online program so my schedule is very flexible. My dream job is an elementary school counselor. I am offering childcare, pet care, help with household needs and running errands. I have a car and a spotless driving record. I am wilderness first responder certified, which includes emergency first aid, rescue training and CPR a certification. I am the oldest kid of my parents friend group and the oldest grandchild so I have been watching after my younger sister, cousins and neighbors most of my life, but I have officially started babysitting (aka getting paid) since I was 14. I have worked with kids from ages 2 to 12. I have experience with potty training, changing diapers and children with allergies. I also have experience with working with kids with additional needs.
