Combined, I have now over 15 years of experience working with families. In fact, there has not really been a time where I have ever stopped working with families! I have professionally managed events, conferences, and weddings for a good chunk of my career before transitioning to academic research and law. Outside of this platform, I work privately in law, with content management, and coach public speaking. I took a break from UrbanSitter for several years for grad schools. I have BA of Interdisciplinary Studies, a MA in Education and teaching certificates for the states of TX, CA and Washington. I relocated to Seattle from Texas where I taught Pre Kindergarten in a public school as a certified teacher for 5 years. I also taught PreK in California and worked at various schools in Orange County, California as a substitute teacher. Other experience includes Kinder Care preschool teacher where I worked with 2 year olds and infants, and part time babysitting over the years for families with kiddos of all ages especially infants. Hi! My name is Jessica. I’m a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) on a neurology floor, and I’ve been caring for kids since 2018. I started babysitting back in high school and have worked with children of all ages: from newborns to teens. I’m currently in nursing school, so I take babysitting jobs for date nights and occasional needs. I’m CPR and Basic Life Support certified, calm under pressure, and experienced with medical situations.
