It’s hard to find a job as a college student because I have not had a job in the past due to a busy schedule in high school and most jobs require past working experience. I would say I’m friendly and respectful and like to get the job done! I’m currently a student at Arizona State who is majoring in English but maybe child development in the future! I am looking to occasionally babysit only because I go back home to my home state for winter and summer break so keep that in mind! My name is Nancy. I am the first born daughter of 8 children. I’ve been helping my mom take care of my siblings which have built the foundation of my profession. I’m currently a preschool teacher and have previous experience with being a substitute teacher for about 6 years. Through substituting, I was able to obtain a lot of my professional experience. I’ve been to a vast amount of daycares where I got to see and learn different learning styles in children as well as different approaches to learning and teaching children to achieve their milestones. I’ve been in a classroom where I’ve had to potty train and can say I was able to learn a few techniques. I’ve also been “long-term” in some sites where I was able to grow a bond with some of the children and celebrate their success. I do have a sibling with Asperger’s autism who is 15, so I have some experience with children on the spectrum.
