Howdy! I’m originally from Texas and moved to Los Angeles in 2012 to start a new chapter — and I’ve been here ever since. With over 15 years of experience caring for children from newborns to preteens, I’ve had the joy of supporting many families through their childcare journeys. I look forward to helping with yours next!

Catherine was so sweet and I immediately felt comfortable with her!

Hi, my name is Cynthia! I have been working with children for about proximately the last 5 years. I started by watching my nieces and nephews before taking care of my friends kids. I usually babysit children at ages 1-8 but I am willing to babysit kids a little bit older. While I do not own a car, or know how to drive one, but I do have my own means of transportation to arrive on time. I can even do light housework and do not mind animals being around.

Cynthia has been amazing prompt and very helpful with my little one and our household. She pays attention always on time and my daughter enjoys time with her.

Serenity $25 per hour for 1 child

Child care: Hello! My name is Serenity and I have been working in childcare since I was 14. I am one of 48 cousins so for as long as I can remember, I have always been taking care of someone younger than myself. I have worked as a full time nanny to a family with an infant under 8 months. This included being home alone for 8+ hours and in charge of all care. I followed a strict sleep schedule and routine. Prepared bottles and purées. Reference available for contact. As well as done over night shifts to help with sleep training and regression. I have been called the “baby whisperer” by more than one. I believe with patients, a calm energy, and a strong routine, all infants can be sleep trained easily. I am also a high school and travel ball softball coach so my training in CPR/First Aide/Basic medical care is very extensive as it’s required for those positions. I am also fluent in ASL and studied child development at Golden West College. I enjoy art, sports, adventures, learning, and all things fun! Elderly care: I grew up living with my grandmother who had COPD. I was one of her main caregivers for the better half of 5 years. I helped schedule and monitor doctor’s visits. Kept her on a very strict schedule that followed her doctor’s instructions, administered medication, picked up medications, drove her anywhere her heart desired, and spent so many hours watching the cooking network. But always found every second so much fun. I worked as a patient services supervisor for a very reputable physical therapy company so I understand the details of American health insurance better than most. I also learned many fall prevention, basic mobility training, and mobility support throughout my years there. I have always been someone who loves to spend my time with the generations from before me. Before she passed, my great grandma, who lived in Apple Valley, and I would talk on the phone almost daily, spend hours writing letters back and forth because she felt it was a lost art, went on road trips with over 16 hour long drives. Just chatting and enjoying. I love old movies, TV shows, music and am happy to help with any needs to help the person in your life in any way I can. While also hopefully alleviating any stress from you any way I can.

Hey I’m Nami. I’ve been babysitting for a few years and Ive always taken care of my younger siblings/cousins growing up. I’m CPR/First Aid certified, and I’m always happy to follow any specific routines or rules your family has. I take pride in being reliable and communicative, and I genuinely care about each child I work with. Clear communication is important to me so I can always send check ins or share updates if wanted. I have experience working with students from elementary through high school, including special education. I worked for a private agency that specialized in children with special needs/behavioral issues as well. Willing to do any cooking/cleaning needed. Non-smoker and have reliable transportation!

Very reliable and punctual. Felt confident leaving my kid in her care. I recommend to anyone looking for a baby sitter. Going to book again.

Haily 2 reviews
$30 per hour for 1 child

I’m Haily, a 24 year old engineering student at USC! I am pursuing a dual degree in a Biomedical Engineering (B.S.) and Mechanical Engineering with an AI/ML specialization (M.S.) looking forward to finishing my collegiate career in December 2026. I am someone who loves fun activities like coloring, journaling, cooking, meditating and exploring nature. I have about 3 years of babysitting experience from babysitting my younger cousins in my hometown of Sacramento. I also have a younger sister who I love dearly that I grew up helping my mom taking care of! Additionally, I’ve tutoring 5th-8th grade students as a freelance tutor for the past 5 years, usually meeting these students in their home, building connections with parents, and helping them become more confident in all subjects, especially math! I’m the type of person that is intentional with everything I do and leads with a love ethic. I love working kids and am so excited to get started with babysitting here in Los Angeles.

Haily is an exceptionally kind and patient person. She is dependable, professional and knows how to make anyone feel comfortable, even the shyest person. She is an amazing tutor and from what I know has a lot of experience tutoring kids of all ages. She prioritizes the needs of those around her and is always willing to help. I couldn’t recommend her more.
