My name is Nancy. I am the first born daughter of 8 children. I’ve been helping my mom take care of my siblings which have built the foundation of my profession. I’m currently a preschool teacher and have previous experience with being a substitute teacher for about 6 years. Through substituting, I was able to obtain a lot of my professional experience. I’ve been to a vast amount of daycares where I got to see and learn different learning styles in children as well as different approaches to learning and teaching children to achieve their milestones. I’ve been in a classroom where I’ve had to potty train and can say I was able to learn a few techniques. I’ve also been “long-term” in some sites where I was able to grow a bond with some of the children and celebrate their success. I do have a sibling with Asperger’s autism who is 15, so I have some experience with children on the spectrum.

Hi I’m Skye! I am 18 years old and am ready for a job! It’s hard to find a job as a college student because I have not had a job in the past due to a busy schedule in high school and most jobs require past working experience. I would say I’m friendly and respectful and like to get the job done! I’m currently a student at Arizona State who is majoring in English but maybe child development in the future! I am looking to occasionally babysit only because I go back home to my home state for winter and summer break so keep that in mind! I think I want a job where I can pick up kids from school and watch them for a few hours or when parents want to go on a date night!

I have 2 daughters my own. They are 36 and 31 years old. The younger daughter has a 5 yrs old son. They are very intelligent, artistic, teachers, very loving and kind daughters. I have been working at the elementary schools as a teacher's assistant, special assistant aide and also a pianist for 10 schools done many school music concerts. I am very loving, caring and educational towards children. Greatest things are the children love me back!

Hi, my name is Chelsea. I am 20 years old and a current college student at CSULB. Originally, I am from Riverside, where I get most of my babysitting experience. Professionally I worked with several companies that provide childcare to several different types of children, including those with learning and physical disabilities. I currently work with the YMCA at an elementary school. In this role, I am responsible for 20 students, making sure they complete their homework and providing snacks/supper and enrichment lessons to further their education. Education is very important to me as someone working with kids. Outside of childcare, I do have experience with small dogs and cats and have no problem providing household services.
