I did take a little over a year off flying where I left my last airline in Arizona (where I’m born and raised) to move to the Bay Area where my Dad and other family are at. I started nannying in Marin where I got introduced to a family needing more of a family manager role. The kids were 10, 13, and 16. I gained a lot of experience doing that for about a year and a half then got hired at southwest as a flight attendant.
