Hello! I'm currently a Design Consultant at an SF based apparel and accessories company. I enjoy making furniture, cooking, and doing anything creative. I have been a nanny/sitter for six years and have worked with children ranging from 3 months-5 years old. Getting to be a nannying/sitter has been an awesome experience because I have gotten to be part of kiddos lives and enjoy watching them grow.

As the oldest sister of eight siblings my story life helped me to develop the skills to care for kids of all ages, evolving into a problem-solving patient caregiver. In my youth, I started volunteering as a babysitter and tutoring in my community. Later, I went to medical school and graduated as an International Medical graduate in Ecuador, I am currently volunteering at Yale School of Medicine conducting remote research on child development while studying to take the exams for the US medical license. While in college, I practiced Andean folkloric ballet as a professional dancer which aided to sharpen my skillset for teamwork and leadership, expanding my creativity which comes in handy in activities for kids. I am fluent in English and a native Spanish speaker, so I could tutor kids teaching Spanish if it’s an interest of their parents for them to become polylingual. I am also an adept pet house sitter and enjoy gardening. I have professional knowledge on nutrition and am passionate about children's well-being and healthy lifestyles. I am a loving aunty of four cuties, and I like to keep up to date with the animated movies to be able to give them my point of view on their topics while reading fantasy books to them as much as I can. I aspire to become a pediatric surgical oncologist, and will be applying for pediatric and surgical residency programs for 2027. I have a very flexible schedule until then. I am one of 48 cousins so for as long as I can remember, I have always been taking care of someone younger than myself. I have worked as a full time nanny to a family with an infant under 8 months. Elderly care: I grew up living with my grandmother who had COPD. I was one of her main caregivers for the better half of 5 years. I helped schedule and monitor doctor’s visits. Kept her on a very strict schedule that followed her doctor’s instructions, administered medication, picked up medications, drove her anywhere her heart desired, and spent so many hours watching the cooking network. But always found every second so much fun. I worked as a patient services supervisor for a very reputable physical therapy company so I understand the details of American health insurance better than most. I also learned many fall prevention, basic mobility training, and mobility support throughout my years there. I have always been someone who loves to spend my time with the generations from before me. Before she passed, my great grandma, who lived in Apple Valley, and I would talk on the phone almost daily, spend hours writing letters back and forth because she felt it was a lost art, went on road trips with over 16 hour long drives. Just chatting and enjoying. I love old movies, TV shows, music and am happy to help with any needs to help the person in your life in any way I can. Hi, my name is Cynthia! I have been working with children for about proximately the last 5 years. I started by watching my nieces and nephews before taking care of my friends kids. I usually babysit children at ages 1-8 but I am willing to babysit kids a little bit older. While I do not own a car, or know how to drive one, but I do have my own means of transportation to arrive on time. I can even do light housework and do not mind animals being around.
