Hi! My name is Megan, and I am currently looking for occasional/ part time babysitting or petsitting jobs while I take some gap years before graduate school. I've been babysitting for about 10 years now, but as the oldest sister I've been helping out with my siblings since I was young. I graduated from UCLA in 2023 with a BA in Psychology and a minor in Anthropology. I enjoy learning about health and medicine in the contexts of development and society. Some of my hobbies include drawing, yoga, and eating good food :) I’ve worked with children of different ages, ranging from babies to teenagers, though I have the most experience with babies and kids ages 2 - 5. I find caregiving to be a fun and rewarding job. While kids learn a lot from us, I find that we learn a lot from them as well. Hello, I graduated from UC Santa Cruz in 2018, and recently received my masters. I am employed full time at a nonprofit organization, and looking for opportunities on the weekends and evenings. I have over 7 years of experience working with children 4-16yrs. My first experience was taking care of my younger cousins, and then professionally working at a school. I supported English-language learners achieve their reading goals. I also was an afterschool program facilitator working with kids 5-10, so I have tried every arts and craft project. I have classroom experience supporting Kindergartners with their dual immersion education & supporting them with their playground activities. I love education and enjoy supporting the development of young minds. I am bilingual and happy to assist with homework, household activities, and chores! I firmly believed kids are here ro teach us and we must learn from them before we can intent teaching them. Each child is born with unique abilities and characteristics and personality traits that provide us all the information we need to help a child reach their full potential. To guide/coach a child you must know him/her first. I have experience house sitting mid size homes and large estates short and long term. I believe it’s essential for families to have peace of mind that their home will be running fine when they are away. I take care of contacting maintenance personnel if needed, manage house cleaning staff, take care of dry cleaners, make sure pantry and basic items are ready and available when the family returns. I can do airport pick up and drop off. I have work in ranch homes with horses and I make sure that runs properly as well. I love dogs and cats, have a small dog at home and I believe our pets choose us their purpose is to complete us. At 50 years old I have learn a thing or two about life, my approach to everything I do is to come from contrition and connection. I learned not to meek my purpose in life when the purpose is to live a meaningful life and create deep connections a long the journey. I am bilingual English and Spanish, the modern family dynamic nowadays is multicultural families and I can adjust and understand each family has different and specific needs.

I am a a current Medical Assistant in training that had learned all of the basics such as checking vitals, CPR, etc!
