I have been a preschool teacher for 5 years and it's my dream job. Working with children is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. In addition to my experience, I have 30 units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education. I've worked with both adults and children with learning and behavioral differences and am kind, compassionate, and nurturing. As a mom of two teenagers, I know how hard it is to trust someone to take care of your children. I have excellent references from 4 different preschools including a nature school, Waldorf preschool, and the Multicultural Children's Center here in Santa Rosa. I am currently a teacher at a large family farm and daycare. I am comfortable taking care of animals. Cats, dogs, farm animals...I love them all! I hope to help them build healthy confidence, knowing they are capable and can do hard things– and are able to ask for help. I value a healthy and age-appropriate transparency between child and adult, enough for children to know that adults aren’t perfect and we don’t expect them to be perfect either.
