Hello! I work part time in corporate but prior to my career change I worked as a preschool teacher for 8 years in traditional as well as Reggio Emilia and Montessori inspired programs. For a year I was the Assistant Preschool Director and first grade English teacher at a private multilingual immersion school. I also have two years of nanny experience for a family with an infant and a school age child, and worked as an assistant in an elementary school RSP (special Ed) program while in college. I have a 4 year old son (my only) who is the light of my life! I currently have house rabbits, and have been the loving pet parent to a canary, amphibians, a hamster and dogs over the years, including my beloved maltese mix, Ginger, who crossed the rainbow bridge in 2020 at the age of 14. I love to cook and laundry is my favorite chore. I earned my bachelor’s degree in Applied Cultural Anthropology from Cal State Long Beach, and have 21 Early Childhood Education/Child Development units from Santa Monica College and Cerritos College. English is my native langue, I speak limited French and have a fairly large vocabulary of Spanish and Korean words and phrases.
