Hi parents! My name is Stephanie. I have over 10 years of experience under my belt as a nanny/babysitter. A bit about me: I am a preschool teacher at Good Shepherd Lutheran School in Novato, and have been working there for 4 years now. I work daily with children ages 2-4. I am graduating this spring with an AS degree in Child and Family Studies from Napa Valley College, and I am CPR and First Aid certified. Prior to teaching, I also have several years of experience babysitting children ages 0-10, including babysitting for individual families, and providing childcare for large groups of children at events. I love working with children and am fascinated by the process of their development! Their little minds are absolutely intriguing. I love to play and experiment alongside them, and my approach to discipline and teaching is very much based in authoritative parenting style (aka gentle parenting) and play-based learning. I am a preschool teacher for Oakland Unified .I really enjoy spending time with children. I am creative. I like to do art and craft projects. I like to go on outings swimming hiking, going to museums and parks.
