Hello! I am Los Angeles based, working part time in advertising and looking for a regular part time or occasional childcare position, ideally 10-15 hours a week. I am one of six kids and began working with children at the age of 13. I'm now in my thirties, with many years of nannying behind me. I have taken care of children of all ages and stages of childhood. I have been certified in CPR in the past, and would be willing to update that certification if needed. I am fun, present, and engaging with children. I believe in the importance of enjoying nature, and will often take children on hikes or other outdoor excursions. As a former ballet dancer, I have taught children's dance classes and encourage creative expression in whichever form it might appear. In prior nanny positions I've offered tutoring/homework help with elementary and high school courses. I'm happy to cook, have no problem dropping off/picking up at school, and do have my own vehicle if any transportation is needed. I am also willing to do light house cleaning. I encourage creativity and growth with the children and allow for a fun and safe environment to learn and play, while being sensitive to each little one's individual needs. I am Howard University alumnae. I love having an active lifestyle. I’ve been babysitting for the past fourteen years. I teach children from 2-18 years old how to play golf. I love to complete puzzles, play outside, and play with toys. When it comes to deciding one over the other, I would much rather read to your children than have them stare at a television screen. I believe children learn better when they are less reliant on technology for entertainment.

I recently combined my two passions by hosting a children’s web series focused on having a growth mindset called Big Life Journal Buddies. I am originally from from the East Coast and graduated summa cum laude from Temple University in 2015. In addition to over 10 years of babysitting, mentoring students, and leading sports camps, I have two years of experience as a coach in a top youth soccer program that focuses just as much on character development as it does soccer fundamentals. I have also nannied for a Beverly Hills family including an 8 and 12 year old for one school year.
