Hello, my name is Luz! :) I graduated from the University of California, Berkeley with a major in Psychology, a minor in Early Development and Learning Science, and a Certificate in Business. My experience working with children began in 2014 when I started as a Teacher’s Aide at the YMCA. I love engaging with kids - whether that means creative play, outdoor activities, or helping with learning. In my spare time, I enjoy listening to psychology podcasts, personal finance audiobooks, and spending time outdoors hiking nearby trails. While away from UrbanSitter for a bit now, I’ve kept babysitting my younger sister (8 y.o now) and created a wedding planning business. POLICIES Payment: Because I plan my time and budget around booked hours, I ask to be paid for the full booking, even if plans change or you return earlier than expected.
