Hello! My name is Alexa, I am 20 years old and have spent many years taking care of family members children as well as my own sister while she was young. I have 4 years of teaching children how to swim under my belt and how to handle kids when they are dealing with more difficult emotions and was trained as a lifeguard to keep children safe. I work 8:30am-5pm Monday to Friday on weekdays however am free on weekends and after work! I spend most of my free time at the gym, baking, cooking, or sewing as I have my own machine and depending on what my weekends look like I take time to go out with my sister. To learn to distinguish good risks to take from harmful or dangerous risks. I want to encourage them to play hard and I use kindness as a guiding principle in everything. I hope to help them build healthy confidence, knowing they are capable and can do hard things– and are able to ask for help. I value a healthy and age-appropriate transparency between child and adult, enough for children to know that adults aren’t perfect and we don’t expect them to be perfect either. Hi, my name is Brianna. I am 32 y/o. I’m a novato native, currently residing in San Rafael. I’m currently looking to help a family or two with childcare for any age. I’ve worked with kids in some fashion my entire life. I have younger siblings (24 & 6), and many nieces and nephews from close friends. I’ve worked with children since I was 12 y/o. Im comfortable with all ages of children, newborns - 13yrs+. I’m familiar with the growth stages for each respective age group and the tailored needs each child requires. I grew up playing basketball for many years, along with cheerleading and softball. I’m a confident swimmer, and enjoy most outdoor activities. I am not currently CPR certified, but am willing to renew my certification, and have been certified in infant, adolescent, and adult CPR. - Directly after high school, I attended school in Las Vegas for medical assisting - learning the basics of first aid and medical training. Knowledge of which I’m looking to further apply in my studies of nutrition. his summer, I will started my pre-reqs for my nutrition degree, paired with obtaining a certification as a pilates instructor. I’m able to help with household needs; light cleaning, food prep/ cooking, taking children to school or afterschool activities. I love all pets - I grew up with pets in the house hold, and am happy to help with walking dogs, taking them to the dog park, and replenishing their food/ water (for all pets).
