I am Elena, an outgoing and friendly undergrad college student currently attending Sac State!🐝 I'm studying to become a mental health clinician at either elementary or middle school, so working with children is something I'm in the long-run for! I'm the eldest to three younger siblings (aged 10 months, 9, and 18) and care for several cats, dogs, and lizards in my home! I have three years of working with children under my belt as an after school program leader to first through sixth graders. I am CPR/AED certified. I am also currently working at Village Montessori in Carmichael caring for preschoolers from 18 months to TK. From these experiences, I am prepared to watch over children at any stage of development! Dear interested families, Hello, my name is Margaret AKA Maggie, I would be a good choice to assist your family with infant, child, elder and or pet care because of my extensive experience and education. I really enjoy working with children, seniors, and pets of all ages and abilities. I have 43 years of experience as a caregiver. This includes giving tube feeds, incontinence care, medications, seizure management, and activities. I have 14 units of early childhood education. In addition, I was trained in the Montessori method of preschool teaching. I have a BA in Organizational Leadership and an AA in Human Growth and Development. I have been a nanny for three different doctors. One with three children, one with a 12 month old and another with an 18 month old. I have been an In home caregiver for 4 different agencies. I was an Activities Director for a 53-bed Alzheimers Facility. I was a Vocational Counselor for Learning Disabled Young Adults. I raised four children of my own, the oldest severely challenged. I am an artist and musician and enjoy giving guitar lessons to students. I have experience with dogs and cats also. I used to have my own cleaning business. Hi! I am currently a first year at Sac State, studying psychology. I am currently a Pre-school and Elementary school substitute which has a very flexible schedule, primarily having more experience with infants/toddlers. I love taking care of babies/toddlers but I also find enjoyment in taking care of kids 3 years and up. Im hoping to find a nanny job to stay long-term! I have past experience with watching over 6th-grade students as a Science Camp Cabin Leader twice. Have recent experience with babysitting 3 different families, 18-month-old girl, 20-month-old girl, and a 9-year-old boy but I am available for more opportunities with other families!
