I’ve had a love for children for as long as I can remember and have been babysitting since I was in middle school. Caring for kids has always come naturally to me, and over the years that passion has grown into hands-on experience across many ages and settings. I previously owned and operated an indoor playground designed for toddlers and young children, where I created safe, engaging spaces centered around play, creativity, and early development. Today, I work as a preschool teacher, supporting children’s learning, routines, and social-emotional growth every day. In addition to my professional childcare experience, I’m also a baker and a full-time crafter, which means creativity is always part of my caregiving. Baking simple treats, hands-on crafts, sensory activities, and imaginative projects are naturally woven into my time with children in fun, age-appropriate, and safe ways. As a mom, I understand how important trust, consistency, and routines are for children to feel secure. I’m reliable, patient, and attentive, with safety always as my top priority. I truly love working with children and take pride in creating a warm, engaging environment where kids feel happy, confident, and cared for and where parents feel at ease knowing their children are in loving, capable hands.

I have over 10 years experience caring for children infants through 10 years old. I prefer and specialize in infants and toddlers! I have a certificate in Child Development. In addition, I was a substitute teacher for at least 8 years and I have experience as an independent tutor in math and language arts. I have cared/worked within the school system ages pre-school to 8th grade. I am a very responsible, dependable, patient, caring, loving, friendly and hands on nanny. I treat my clients children with 150 percent of my abilities. The child's safety is of upmost importance along with their happiness! Children are like gold to me-precious! Hi I am Shelly! I am 19 years old. I have experience with kids ages 5-12. I was a camp counselor for 3 years. I am able to cook and clean. I am also able to drive the kids to wherever they need to go. I grew up babysitting my younger cousins which grew my love for taking care of kids!

I would be thrilled to have the opportunity to hang out with your kiddos for occasional nights out, adult weekends away, or busy days to get errands done. I spent almost 5 years teaching toddlers and preschoolers, ages 18-months to five-years-old, before becoming a full-time nanny for a four-month-old and a five-year-old. When the infant was old enough to attend school, I stepped into an assistant director role at a preschool in my hometown, which is my current full time position. I am CPR and first aid trained, mandated reporter certified, and I obtained a teaching certificate along with 30 child development units, and a degree in social and behavioral sciences. Early childhood education is my passion and I would love the opportunity to help your young ones on their social and emotional development and academic growth!

I have my CPR/First Aid certification and have had the pleasure of taking care of 3 year old twins with special needs, a 1 1/2 year old for 6 months, providing transportation for a 4 & 6 year old, as well as occasional/date night sitting for kids of all ages. I love children and love having the opportunity to take care of kids and watch them grow.
