Hi, I'm Ava! I was born and raised in the Bay Area, then moved to the East Coast with the family I was nannying for at the time. I just moved to Modesto and am looking to meet new families! I've always loved working with kids- I started babysitting when I was 12 and then at my local YMCA when I was 15. I worked summer camp, after school, and child watch programs- with children ranging from 6 months to 11 years in age. When I was 17, I started nannying. My typical duties included driving the kids to after school activities, taking them to the park, meal prep, light housework, and general care. I am very comfortable doing basic chores around the house (e. g. dishwashing, laundry, driving the kids places, and other activities) and I have my own car. While on the East Coast I babysat for multiple families and made awesome connections, I'm really excited to do that here in Modesto! :) My current availability is evenings and weekends. Hello, I am Hailey, I have been babysitting 3 boys (age 2, 4, and 4) and 4 girls (3, 4, 8, and 10). I began caring for my first family at the age of 14 when she was 3. I cared for her for 7 years, adding on her 3 siblings (girls) over the years as they have been born. My second family was a single grandmother with 2 grandchildren (boys 2 and 4). I cared for her grandchildren for her while she is at work. I also help care for her mother who is in hospice, however she moved out of state early last year. My third family has custody of her grandchild with her husband. I cared for their grandchild while grandma was at work while her husband was sleeping for his job. She retired and no longer needs care for her grandchild (boy 4). I currently work with a 7 year old and a 4 year old for a few hours in the morning before taking them to school. I have done pick up and drop off, cleaning, laundry, errands, arts and crafts (jewelry, painting, coloring, dioramas, ect.), music (trumpet, guitar, drums, euphonium, baritone, tuba, French horn), help with homework, cooking and baking, bedtime routine, school routine, sports (football, baseball, and basketball), and more. I have done a few semesters at Skyline Community College in San Bruno studying to double major in English and Criminal Justice with a minor in creative writing. I love caring for children, their laughter and smiles always make me feel good. I also love helping them and it makes me proud to know that I have made a difference in their lives.

I have been working with children for 15 years and I still love it. I worked at a daycare center as an infant toddler teacher for five years. I taught swim lessons to all ages. I am currently a nanny for over 5 years. I love to be outside taking walks, or at a park. I like to do art activities, make up scavenger hunts, read books, play board/card games, legos, and just follow what the child is into. Usually just make up games. A babysitter should be a fun time for the child. I am happy to do easy meals for the kids and some cleaning.

I am a responsible and caring individual. In college I studied early child development, nutrition and prerequisites for nursing. In the past, I worked in a home daycare with my aunt, that she owned. The age group ranged from 6 months to 5 years old to prepare them for kindergarten. I am CPR, first aid and AED certified. I work at a daycare and assist as a one to one support. I am currently a Behavioral Technician and use my ABA therapy skills at home visits. I learned the skills to teach children everyday life skills so they can be independent. I babysit my nieces and nephews when my family needs help. I have experience with infants from newborns- children up to 15 years old. I love being around children they are so funny and sweet. I enjoy going on walks and parks with kids so they can enjoy the outdoors. I love to play board games and cards. I am currently a nanny on Saturdays for the first kiddo I accepted on this app. I have now been with the family for 1 year. I love to be outdoors, hiking and camping.
