Hello, I am currently available for part-time or one time caregiving support. I am looking to supplement my retirement by continuing to do what I am most passionate about—working with children. I am CPR and First Aid certified and have 17 years of experience as a paraeducator in special education. In addition, I have 18 years of experience as a respite provider working with ambulatory clients on the autism spectrum. For the past 3.5 years, I have also served as co-owner and teacher at an infant daycare. The last two years I’ve helped with my daughter’s different foster babies (ages 3 days- 2 years) after work and on the weekends (Currently there are no fosters.) My experience is further informed by being a parent to a child on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding, empathy, and commitment to quality care. During that time, I sat for a bit over 100 different families and am asked back about half the time! At this point I am only doing evening/night-time sitting, and depending upon what care you need I will consider doing weekend daytime too. I really enjoy being around kids of all ages. If your kid(s) are of the right age, I love to play games, do puzzles, read, or as I see some of you are up for, taking kids around SF to explore this incredible city! I'd love the opportunity to help your household out by responsibly doing some fun things with your child(ren). Or, if they're too young for these things, I'm very responsible and will ensure your newborn or toddler are well looked after. I babysat when I was a teenager, and was a part-time nanny for a couple of years in college, but in my adult life I play pinch-babysitter to friends or family when they get into a bind. My name is Lilian but everyone calls me Lily. I’m from Mexico City. I was an au pair for two years and been working as a nanny for more than four years now. I have over 1000 hours of experience with kids from 4 months old to 13 years old. I’m responsible, open minded, outgoing and flexible. I love to do any kind of activities, outdoors and indoors!
