I'm calm, positive, and responsible (and French). I like working with kids because they see the world in a way that makes it more beautiful. I love their curiosity, intelligence, and joy in little things. I'm looking for a part-time job (9 a.m. -4 p.m. ) since I have a little girl who needs her mom too, with a family where I can build a warm, trusting relationship with the children. I started working with kids when I moved to San Francisco a year ago. I picked up a 3 and a 5-year-old from school and helped with their workbooks, and looked after two girls, aged 2 and 4, with drawing, reading, and role-play. In May, I welcomed my own baby girl, my most full-time job yet! In my spare time, I like to walk, read, travel, and see friends. As a mom, I take your children's safety and well-being as seriously as you do. As the second oldest of seven children, I have spent most of my life caring for kids. From ages 17 to 19, I was the sole caregiver for my two youngest siblings, then ages 0 to 4, due to an illness in the family. I started babysitting at a young age and quickly built a reputation for being especially good with young children. I went on to work in K-12 summer camps for four summers, then spent two years as a program leader in a K-8 public school afterschool program. During my thirteen years as a flight attendant, I completed annual first aid training, including infant and child CPR and Heimlich maneuver certification. I live in Cole Valley with my small, perfect dog Lola and my partner, who works at a tech start up. I'm reliable, responsible, and very flexible with scheduling. Hi! I’m Kailiti and I am a preschool teacher! I’m also a recent grad of Stanford University, where I studied linguistics and education. I’m offering childcare and household services. Working with children brings me a lot or joy and I’ve been in childcare and education jobs for the past eight years, including as a science teacher in schools, a summer camp counselor, and of course as a babysitter! I am comfortable working with children ages 2mo-12yrs and I also have experience working with children with high support needs, including children with autism and neurodevelopmental disabilities.
