It began when I started volunteering at my church with the childcare center! I knew I had a passion and decided to go to college for early childhood education. I finished my schooling in 2022 and wanted to explore a teaching career. I then worked in a preschool for almost a year and a half. I became CPR/First Aid certified there and still am! I had my own T-K classroom with 24 children and loved finding fun ways to lead them to learn. This included social studies, math, science, writing, language/literacy, dramatic play, as well as social and emotional in my daily goals. When attendance was low I would “float” to different classes and spend time with all ages, giving me experience with the entire school that was varying from ages 1-2, 2-3, and 3-4.
