Laura $30 per hour for 1 child

Hello I'm Laura. Recently returned from living abroad for several years. I am an educator and creative person by trade. I offer child care, senior care and pet care. Before becoming a teacher and trainer I babysat, took care of my elderly father and held various office jobs. Currently, between teaching jobs in public and private sector (primary , secondary and adult learners) I also help care for my elderly mother. I grew up with a dog and cats. Therefore, I'm comfortable caring for both children, seniors and pets. I also love animals. I have two cats and I'm not allergic to dogs, I love them too. When I have free time I volunteer, write, create artistic cards and try to learn something new every three -six months. I also use public transport to move around. If my profile fits your needs reach I'd love to hear from you. A presto, Laura

Raised by a single mom she always instilled in me a strong work ethic. While in high school I had 2 regular babysitting jobs. I worked for 20+ years in the Tech Industry (Medical Devices). As a Supervisor, Analyst and Health & Safety. Senior Care In 2017 I resigned from my job of 17 yrs and relocated to Arizona to live with my ailing father who lost his wife, he needed help with daily activities, cooking, cleaning, shopping, Dr appts. After his passing I moved to Oregon and semi-retired in 2020. Children While in Oregon I took a part time job with KIDSNW as a Personal Support worker. They work with the State to get help for families who have children with disabilities. I was placed with a family who has 7 yr old twins, I helped them with daily activities like dressing, reading, art projects, homework, playing games, playing outside. I also supported the parents with home chores and accompanied them on errands and watched the children on their date nights. Infants and Toddlers I helped a family in Alameda County 2 to 3 times a week for 5 yrs who had new born twins and a 3 yr old, I assisted with bathing, clothing, changing diapers, preparing bottles for the evening and helped parents with household duties. I am currently working with a family that has twins a boy and girl they had just turned 2 when I started with them. My duties are changing diapers, feeding, bathing, reading books, drawing taking them to the park to play they have alot of energy. I also help with household chores. I relocated to Contra Costa County to help out my sister recover after her surgery, now that she is feeling better I would like to resume working part time. I am a self-starter motivated person who is easy going, friendly, honest, dependable, respectful, and I like to think I have a good sense of humor. During challenging situations I can act calmly and with patience I am sure my life experience is the reason for this. I hope you will consider me for your child care needs. Best regards, Teri

Ms. Teri took care of my son in the morning and helped him prepare for preschool while I was conducting conference calls. She was reliable, punctual, responsive, and trustworthy with a high sense of responsibility. My son was excited to see her every time. She even went above and beyond to help us tidy up the kitchen. We feel lucky to have met Teri. I would recommend her!

Dominique $30 per hour for 1 child

I recently moved back to the area and am seeking childcare opportunities. My ample experience with kids in both childcare settings and as a counselor make me uniquely qualified for any childcare position. I worked as a child trauma counselor for children of all ages for five years. This experience provided me with an astute ability to connect emotionally with children, understand their needs, and help them to feel safe. I have a Masters in Social Work and Bachelors in Psychology; and worked as a babysitter and nanny for various families while in school. While studying for my Bachelors, I worked at a daycare for four years. I have a year of experience providing behavioral therapy to children and teens with autism and/or developmental disabilities, in addition to caring for kids with special needs in nannying settings. I have adored developing strong bonds with children throughout my life.

Simone $18 per hour for 1 child

Hello My name is Simone, I’m a 21 year old student who just graduated from Diablo valley College with a certification in early childhood education. My experience includes volunteering in a Montessori preschool and volunteering in an occupational therapy clinic for children with disabilities. The ages I have the most experience with are Preschoolers from ages 3-7. I also have babysitted a couple of clients in the past. I believe I am fit to be a babysitter because I like doing arts and crafts with the children and reading books to them. Some tasks that I am able to perform is helping with making meals, light household work, helping getting ready for bedtime, and homework help (if it’s not math). I also have a calm but clear demeanor when comes to working with challenging behavior. I can’t wait to meet you and your child!
