Hello Parents, I’m Lisa, a high energy responsible and mature woman with a clean background check. I am drug, Alcohol & smoke free. I have a truck, car and 2 car seats. I have a clean driver’s license and full insurance. I've been babysitting since I was 12 years old which gives me 34 years of experience. I also pet sit & elder sit so if you are out of town I can watch your furry baby's too. Last week I watched twin 2 1/2 year old girls while their parents flew away on vacation for 7 days. Other experience; premature babies, 4 days old babies, ALOT of twins, 3 year old triplets, autism, ADHD, Asperger, Down syndrome, asthma and following a special diet such as gluten-free & dairy free. 2019 I cared for twin 4 months old girls until they were a year old, 2 full days a week. -7/2011 - 7/2017 I was watching Kai from 13 months old till 7. Kai has Autism along with delayed walking & speech, many food allergies and some behavioral issues. I watched Kai for an occasional date night & then every Sunday. On Sunday's I picked him up at 8 am at his house. I then drove him to a soccer class followed by breakfast at a local restaurant. Afterwards we would go to a local park/library/zoo/sea world/movie during the middle of the day. At 3pm I would drive him to his 3:30 therapy horseback riding where his parents pick him up at 4. Kai would also sleepover at my home 1 night every couple of months so his parents can have a night away. Kai is gluten free & dairy free so I can follow a stick food program. I also house sit & dog sat when they went out of town. Sadly after watching Kai for 6 years he has moved out of state on July 2016 to be closer to his grandparents. 2- 2[removed] Samantha age 13 & Stephanie is 10 years old. I watched the girls since they were 3 years old and 4 months old. I saw this family about once a month. 3- 2015-current ; I had been watching Sam since he was 4 months old and he is now 10 years old . I see this family every other month. 4- 2012-2018 I started watching Nick when he was 21 months until he 7 years old. Nick became a big brother when he was 3 years and I started watching his sister Addison when she was 2 weeks old. I used to see this family twice a month but they had a 3rd child in 2014 they hired a live in nanny and I was no longer needed. Hi, my name is Robin! I have extensive experience in childcare; I’ve worked as a swim instructor for the YMCA, an overnight camp counselor for Girl Scouts of San Diego, and I have been volunteering at Sandburg Elementary School as an Assistant Teacher for coming up on 3 years now. I have worked with a wide age range of children as young as 6 months and as old as 17, and am comfortable with all ages. I love working with kids and find that kids love working with me! I grew up with dogs all my life, so I am very experienced with caring for dogs, and I have a deep love and appreciation for all animals so I am very open to caring for all pets. I am a great cook and a better baker; I have been told to open up a restaurant or bakery many times and am very comfortable with meal prepping if needed. I live by the principle that you should always leave a place better than how you found it, and I have no problem tidying up around the house if needed. I do not have experience caring for seniors but I am a fast learner and have no problem doing so. I love to dance, play games, read, go on long walks and adventures, and I am a big believer in keeping the magic of a child’s childhood and would love to organize a craft or safe adventure (like an in-house scavenger hunt!) to help foster their imagination and keep their brains active. I have been a nanny for 2 families in the past 10 years. Each job involved picking up from school, taking them to various appointments and waiting until mom came or I took them back home. I would do light housekeeping and help with homework. I would take them to karate, swim lessons also. I babysit their dogs when needed. I’m still in touch with my girls and their parents. I’m often a “grandma “ substitute for kids who don’t see their grandparents or have any. I did some house and dog sitting for a family in La Jolla also. I’m the proud grandma of 4: 2,4,10 &14. And the mother of twins. I was a yard duty when my sons were in elementary school in addition to volunteering in both classes. I continued to volunteer with an elementary school teacher for the next 20 years. I developed a relationship with these families. I attended birthdays and later their graduations. Unfortunately Covid was the end of my last nanny job. I have since moved to north county to be closer to the grandkids. I currently work 4 days a week until 1:30. I have some flexibility in case I was needed earlier. I have also self published a book to help young children learn to say polite words. I love young kids and I love spending time with them. There were times when one of them would tell me things they didn’t tell their moms. I became their confidante. However, if I was told something I thought their mom should know, I would tell her. It helped keep mom up to speed without breaking my confidence with the daughter.
