I am CPR and First Aid certified and have 17 years of experience as a paraeducator in special education. In addition, I have 18 years of experience as a respite provider working with ambulatory clients on the autism spectrum. For the past 3.5 years, I have also served as co-owner and teacher at an infant daycare. The last two years I’ve helped with my daughter’s different foster babies (ages 3 days- 2 years) after work and on the weekends (Currently there are no fosters.) My experience is further informed by being a parent to a child on the autism spectrum, which has deepened my understanding, empathy, and commitment to quality care. Hi! I’m a 29-year-old recent medical school graduate with a deep love for caring for others, especially kids. I graduated from the University of San Francisco and have spent time working at UCSF in cancer research, as well as building a nonprofit organization that I’m incredibly passionate about. I’ve had several years of hands-on experience working with children of all ages, including those with medical complexities. I’ve supervised up to 15 kids at a time while directing a summer science camp, provided consistent after-school care, and worked closely with families over multiple years. I also spent three years working at a tutoring center, so I’m very comfortable helping with homework and learning activities. I truly enjoy creating fun, engaging experiences for kids, whether that’s baking together, doing arts and crafts, playing sports, exploring parks, or organizing little “adventures” around the city like trips to museums, hikes, or the beach.
