Hello, Hola, Bonjour! My name is Sophia and I am a 33 years old childcare professional. My grandparents were from the Philippines and my grandma was from Staten Island, NY! With over 15 years of experience in childcare, including nannying, babysitting and work in preschool classrooms, I am passionate about creating a loving and nurturing environment for children. Currently, I work as a preschool teacher for a local school district. I have been working in a preschool setting for over 6 years and have been working with families as a nanny, babysitter and caregiver for over 15. I thrive on engaging children in a variety of activities, from outdoor adventures such as nature walks to creative pursuits such as building, painting and dramatic play. I plan to transfer to Sonoma State and attain my bachelors degree in ECE. I am inspired by children and their development and love creating joy for the world around them as they grow. Some hobbies I enjoy in my free time include skating, outdoor hiking, dancing, skiing and going to explore the tide pools at the beach. In the past six years I have recently been apart of synchronized skating and theater on ice teams where I went to both national and international competitions. My background as a figure skater and dancer allows me to bring creativity and movement into my interactions with kids. Helping the younger generation of figure skaters on ice fueled my interest in working with young children. In addition to my teaching experiences off ice I have been a figure skating coach at Snoopy's home ice for over 5 years. I have taught a variety of on ice programs including toddlers on ice, group classes and school programs to a variety of youth ages!

Hi - My name is Olivia and I'm currently in my third year at the Santa Rosa Junior College. I am offering child care, senior care, and any household services. I absolutely adore children of all ages, and love being a babysitter. I've been watching/ caring for newborns, infants, toddlers, and kids since I was nine years old. Some of my responsibilities have included, driving to/ from activities, crafts, and household cleaning. Hi! My name is Natalie and I am currently attending graduate school online. I adore kids and have over 10 years of childcare experience across nannying, daycare, mentoring youth in foster care, and as a Crisis Counselor at a mental health program for teens. I truly enjoy working with any age group, with the majority of my experience being with ages 2-17. My favorite thing about working with younger kids is getting to witness their imagination and creativity, and for older kids, I love to witness them come into their true identity as they find their place in the world. While my personal approach to childcare is inspired in part by the RIE technique (which emphasizes respect, emotional attunement, independence, and allowing children space for authentic exploration and unstructured play), I have had the opportunity to work with such diverse families that I tend to begin my approach by asking the specific family I am working with what their needs are and what they are wanting from me, as I have received very different answers to those questions over the years! However, I do value time outdoors, limited screen time, and self-directed play. In addition to childcare, I also have extensive experience caring for pets, including cats and dogs, and can hold other tasks such as household chores, errands, transportation, meal prep, homework help, and organization as needed. Families I have worked with often describe me as patient, dependable, communicative, and highly intuitive with children. I genuinely enjoy building meaningful long-term relationships with both kids and parents, and creating environments where children feel safe, respected, and free to be themselves!
