My childcare experience encompasses caring for children of all ages. I am a Teacher's assistant/Para Educator for Sunnyvale School District during the school year (Aug-June),going into my 9th year this fall. I primarily work with Preschool aged children in a Special Day class and Inclusion Classroom settings, with both typically developing children and students with Special needs. I'm married and a mother of a 21 year old, 18 year old and a 14 year old with high functioning Autism and ADD. My two younger children and myself are competitive athletes, so when we are not competing or training, I'm looking for a way to use my free time helping others and earning a little bit of extra money to fund my children's endeavors as well as pay the bills during my summer hiatus as an Educator. Prior to working as an educator, I spent 10 years as a stay at home mother raising my children as well as caring for other infants, toddlers and school aged children throughout my adult life.
