Hello- My name is Kyla. I am a young, energetic, and responsible 26-year old who loves to engage and play with kids and animals. I am currently looking for In between work as I was just laid off due to the economy! I’m looking for additional income in these hard times. I am offering senior, child care, transportation to/from school, or pet care. I am the oldest of three, with a ten year age gap between my siblings. I’ve spent many years caring for my siblings, as well as nannying for multiple families through my adolescence and my young adulthood. I’ve cared for infants, toddlers, and school-aged children. In addition, I’ve provided drop off/pickup transportation for school, cooked meals, packed lunches, and taken children to recreational activities and social events. I am also an animal lover with a cat and dog. Growing up , my family fostered many animals which ignited my passion to rescue and care for all animals.

I grow up taking care of my new born cousins and my first job was baby sitting more than one kid under the of 3 for one family. I love being around kids and want to be able to provide a safe organize, and positive environment for families. Im pretty much flexible with schedule but I do go to college two times a week.

I have been a preschool teacher for 5 years and it's my dream job. Working with children is the most rewarding thing I've ever done. In addition to my experience, I have 30 units of college coursework in Early Childhood Education. I've worked with both adults and children with learning and behavioral differences and am kind, compassionate, and nurturing. As a mom of two teenagers, I know how hard it is to trust someone to take care of your children. I have excellent references from 4 different preschools including a nature school, Waldorf preschool, and the Multicultural Children's Center here in Santa Rosa. I am currently a teacher at a large family farm and daycare. I am comfortable taking care of animals. Cats, dogs, farm animals...I love them all! In my spare time, I love to get outside and hike and swim. I'm an avid concert/theater goer as well. I hope to hear from you!
