**Elementary School Art Teacher new to SF!** Hello! My name is Amanda, I'm 31, I am a creative person who loves children! I've spent the past four years working as an elementary school art teacher in Massachusetts, and before that, I was a nanny in NYC with experience caring for children of all ages. I’ve been in California for 9 months and helping homeschool in San Jose. I definitely have a lot of experience in an educative enviroment, and prefer an educative enviroment for myself and other always. A bit about me: I practice yoga and tai chi, I'm learning Chinese and Urdu, My degree is in applied psychology and philosophy with the intention of being an existential psychotherapist for adults and an art therapist for children. I started my school's first meditation club, and I host events for women to gather to make art and connect. I love talking with kids, listening to them, asking questions, and seeing the world through their eyes. I'm also able to bring art supplies and give fun, hands-on art lessons, like jelly printing! As a teacher and caregiver, I focus on creating a safe, imaginative, and mindful environment where kids can express themselves freely and feel deeply cared for.

I needed some help in my house with my broken leg and she totally delivered! Great energy!!

Hi, my name is Wendy! 👋🏼 ☺️ I have an Associate’s Degree of Arts: Social and Behavioral Sciences and I recently got my Bachelor’s in Psychology. Im starting a Grad School Program fall 2026 for a LMFT at USF. My academic goal is to be a kids therapist because I truly love working with kids and that is the reason why I like babysitting since I get an opportunity to work with them. I am the eldest daughter of 4 siblings who are all boys and that I cared for since they were born until they grow up older. So the reason why I am very patient and kind with babies, toddlers and children of any ages is because I got the experience from taking care of my little brothers. But since 2020 I have been a nanny for 5 different families for about 1 or 2 years with each long term family. I can surely provide phone numbers for recommendation as well! One thing about me is that I love talking to babies even though they can’t answer back ha! I like taking toddlers and babies on walks, to closest library or just to explore any part of your place! I also enjoy teaching them the numbers, colors and singing appropriate age songs with them as well! I also love reading books with them. And lastly with children of 6-10+ years old I like to play table games or even painting as well. I am also a Spanish and English Tutor at Grade Potential Tutoring and Tutor Hero - so if you would like me to teach/practice with your children Spanish or English that’s something I am willing to work with them too :)

Wendy was so helpful to us at the last minute! She quickly bonded with my two year old and I felt very comfortable leaving the two of them to play all day together. My daughter even woke up the next day asking for her, which was really sweet to see. Wendy was punctual, kind, a responsive communicator and we can't wait to have her back!

🌁 Hi! I’m a native San Franciscan back after twenty years in Hawaii. I began my nannying career in Y2K, and have cared for little ones (newborns- 5 years) since then in San Francisco, Marin, and Maui. 🐣 Over the years, I’ve had the privilege of nurturing children from infancy through adolescence, including my goddaughter, who is aspirationally kind and thoughtful. 🩵 I bring an empathetic, warm, and grounded presence into the home, and always try to grow the giggles! I aim to create a safe, loving environment for children to feel confident, secure, and seen. 🎨 Trained in ballet, hula, acting, and visual arts, I love to encourage imagination and creative self-expression. 💬 With a background in public relations, I’m highly communicative, discreet, organized, and dependable. 🦺 My driver license, vaccination records (COVID x2/ MMR/ Tdap), and background checks (LiveScan, Checkr) are available upon request. ✈️ I'm able to travel with your family (USA Passport/ CLEAR/ TSA Pre-Check), and am available for overnights. 🌸 Please feel free to message me about availability, rates, or anything else; I can usually reply immediately. I look forward to connecting with your family! Aloha! **For the health and safety of all the children and families I work with, I’m unable to care for those actively sick with highly contagious illnesses such as HF&M, RSV, flu, pink eye, COVID, etc. Thank you for understanding.

Booked by 26 families in South San Francisco, CA

Hi families! 👋 My name is Nayla. I’m 29 years old and my childcare journey began in high school, where I completed internships in kindergartens. Since then, I’ve gained over 10 years of experience caring for children of all ages, from newborns to teenagers. I’m currently studying Early Childhood Education, which allows me to continue learning about child development and bring new knowledge and ideas into my work every day. I’m passionate about creating a safe, loving, and nurturing environment where children can learn, grow, and have fun. I believe in building strong, trusting relationships with both children and parents. I’m responsible, reliable, clean, and organized. I love spending time outdoors, going to parks, taking walks, and planning fun, age-appropriate activities. I’m also pet-friendly, fully vaccinated and boosted, and CPR & First Aid certified. I look forward to the opportunity to meet you and your family! Warm regards, Nayla

Nayla has worked full time as my 2-year old son's nanny for the past 13 months. She is caring, reliable, and a joy to be around. When she started, he was just beginning to walk, and she helped him gain in strength and confidence with his gross motor skills. She talks and sings with him, encouraging him to express himself and speak in full sentences. Her style is very caring and affectionate, but she encourages him to be independent. She has also built his social emotional skills by introducing him to other friends. Her communication style is open and direct; I can always rely on her to raise an issue or concern, without leaving things unsaid. And my son absolutely adores her! I couldn't recommend her more, and we are so sorry to see her go when he starts preschool in the fall.
