I am a credentialed Special Education Teacher and private tutor with thirteen years of teaching experience. I have worked with kids with a range of needs, and specialize in students with learning disabilities, ADHD, ASD, and 2E children. I have also been a sitter and nanny for many more years. I have significant experience with kids from newborn infants through high school age. As a sitter, I’m incredibly attentive and engaging with kids. I love to read with them, play games, do arts and crafts, play outside, and cook/ bake. I’m a great cook, and am happy to do meal prep services in addition to childcare as well. I have a B.A. from UC San Diego in International Relations, and a Master's Degree from CUNY Brooklyn College in Special Education. In my free time, I love to cook and bake, create pottery, spend time outside and on the water, and travel to new parts of the world! Cancellation Policy: If bookings are cancelled by the parent within 12 hours of the start time of the booking, I charge a fee of 50% of the total booking to help offset the loss of wages on short notice.
