Hi! I'm Abra. I have experience as a nanny, resort children's program director, and instructor for maritime/marine biology camps. I have experience as a private chef during covid as well as private deckhand/stew. I enjoy cooking. I loved having the opportunity to be a stay at home mom for many years to my daughter, who is now 19, and in college. I currently work part time as a marine surveyor on container ships and oil tankers. In my free time I love to go tidepooling, and I have a native wildflower project I've been working on by myself for several years in Laurel Canyon. I can make an art, craft or science project out of just about anything. I have a ton of silly songs I know by heart, and still love to play. I also have experience with volunteer hospice care and limited mobility care.

I have been working with children in various capacities for over 10 years. For 2 years, I worked as an actor on a traveling theatre group that performs shows on bullying prevention and other social issues at schools throughout the greater Seattle area, and then spent 2 years as the Education and Outreach Program Coordinator for that same theatre company. I now work as an Education Programs Specialist at the Skirball Cultural Center in Los Angeles, where I develop museum programming for students and teachers. In terms of childcare, I have worked with dozens of families, ages ranging from 11 weeks to 13 years old, and I am comfortable and experienced working with all ages and up to three children at a time (or more if necessary). I have learned so much from little ones over the past years and being able to play a role in their growth and development is a great joy. I'm passionate about social-emotional learning and creating opportunities to grow in respect and kindness. I love cooking, crafts, and books!

Hey Parents! My name is Jessica and I was born and raised in Austin, TX. I graduated with a BA in Theater Arts from the University of Texas at Austin. I have been a babysitter/nanny off and on for the last 13 years. I have looked after newborns and children up to 14 years of age. I truly enjoy spending time with them and being apart of their development journeys. My responsibilities have included picking up/driving children, light child-related household duties, putting down for naps/bedtime (we love a nap routine!), cooking/preparing meals, feeding, helping with homework, reading, going out for walks, and of course general care and playtime! In my off time I have founded a nonprofit called Orísun Collective, and we host creative arts summer camps for kids in Nigeria. I would run the camp as well as teach the acting class. My hope is that all children will have the space and support to be their full selves and reach their full potential. I am a very goal-oriented person, and I know that I am capable of achieving every single thing I put my mind to. I have been hosting an event every 6 months for the last 10 years called Girls With Goals, where I bring a group of women together at my house and we talk about our goals, write them down, and keep each other accountable throughout the year. Everyone always leaves inspired and motivated to conquer their goals!

Hi! My name is Jill and I recently graduated from university. I have 14 years of experience babysitting relatives and 6 years of professional experience. I worked exclusively with 1 family and their two kids during COVID. Once children were allowed back for in person school, I worked with three families (2-3 kids each) for a year, coordinating caretaking for the days that they all needed. Since then, I have babysat for many more families part-time and for one-off jobs because I enjoy the infectious energy and wonder that comes with working with children.
