Hello, My name is Marsha. I live with my husband, who is a retired ICU nurse and worked for 20 years at Loma Linda Hospital. in Plantation Lakes, a lovely seniors-only subdivision in Calimesa. My daughter and her husband are ICU nurses and live in San Marcos. I'm retired and worked for 20 years+ as a speaker doing seminars for geotechnical engineers. I retired from being a Notary Public three years ago during the Covid outbreak. I am a very young 72 with no physical problems and a strong back. I love children and miss my grandsons being little as I miss playing games with them and helped to raise them.. We play Scrabble often. I babysit my five grandsons often and enjoy them so much, for free. They are 4, 9, 10, 14 and 16. When my daughter and her husband take their three boys to Colorado to visit that side of the family for 4 or five days, they pay me $100 per day to take care of their lovely house in San Marcos, and their three dogs. I like to be in a clean house, so I keep things picked up. I'm a good cook and I can make anything your child is allowed to eat and do the dishes afterwards. I like to take walks in nice neighborhoods. I would have no problem spending the night once in awhile if you have a special night to celebrate. Hello! It’s great to meet you ! I work as a substitute teacher during the school year but am looking for part time jobs during the summer season. I teach Kindergarten through twelfth grade and am very familiar and comfortable with that wide age range! Besides that, I have also worked in other school districts as an after school leader, where I was used to working one on one with students as well as leading large groups of kiddos as well. I have also nannied for a family with two babies, ages 2 1/2 and 9 months until I started working as a permanent substitute. I find kids’ energetic and kind personalities a joy to be around and I overall love working with kids for those reasons! I have a clean driving record and happily offer pickup and drop off from school if needed! I can offer school related assistance including homework help, arts and crafts, light tidying around the household, and anything else that I may be of help in. My priority is always to ensure that this is a great experience for both the family and children, as for me as a caretaker!
