Hello! My name is Alley, and I'm a recent UCLA graduate with extensive experience in education and with kids. A little more about me: I have several years of experience working with children. Most recently, I've worked at an after-school program as a coordinator, creating curriculum for elementary aged children focused on expression and creativity. I’ve also worked at a daycare center in the Bay Area, where I gained lots of experience with children in all aspects of their daily care. I was directly responsible for infants as young as 4 months old, and children aged 2-12 years old at this center. In both roles I cared for several children at a time—so, I feel well prepared me for just about any babysitting scenario under the sun! I have also done occasional sitting for families in the Los Angeles area. I really love being a small part of a child’s upbringing and seeing them develop into amazing individuals. It’s been super rewarding. I have used UrbanSitter as an avenue to seek out these opportunities, and have worked with some wonderful families as a result! I am a graduate student at the University of Southern California. I went to the University of San Francisco for my undergrad, and ended up spending 7 years living in the city. Originally, I am from Texas and I have a younger brother and sister, and am older than most of my cousins so I have a lot of experience with kids and teenagers. I also mentored at Corey Elementary school during my junior year of high and at Boles Jr. High school during my senior year of high school.
