I am a highly experienced caregiver and educator offering a premium, enrichment-focused childcare experience. With a doctorate in music and over 20 years of service as a youth teacher in my church community, I bring a unique blend of academic depth, creativity, and nurturing care to each family I work with. As a mother of two (ages 11 and 16), I understand firsthand the importance of consistency, structure, and emotional attunement. My weekday afternoons are dedicated to my work as a piano instructor and to caring for my own children; I am now intentionally seeking to support younger families during morning/early afternoon hours, where I can offer high-quality care. I am a 2nd grade teacher with an Early Childhood Education background. I have been teaching for 6 years. Prior to this I was a full time nanny or live in nanny from 19-26. I have cared for a variety of children from infants to teenagers. My primary care has been infants through age 8. I have cared for high special needs kids as well such as Down syndrome, autism, and childhood cancer. I also am a mom to a level 1 autistic child who’s 7. I am seeking part time work and would not be bringing my own child. I work full time as a teacher during the school year and will be off all summer seeking occasional babysitting or tutoring if interested.
