Hi! My name is Sydney and I am college graduate from Brandeis University and have recently graduated from Parker University. I have been babysitting since I was 14. I am CPR/First Aid/AED certified for children and infants. I played collegiate and international softball, so I can definitely handle an active child. I love children of all ages. I worked in a daycare from 2[removed] in Massachusetts in the 2-3-year-old classroom. In addition to children, I also adore animals. I have been a Wag Walker for 4 years, but I also volunteered at an animal rescue for years. I have two dogs, a cat, and a turtle so I can (and will) comfortably care for your animals!

During college I was an afterschool nanny for 4 years for the same family, providing transportation to activities, helping with homework, performing light housekeeping, and preparing lunches for the next day. I also worked at the San Francisco Zoo as a camp instructor for three summers, working with children ages 4 to 10. I recently obtained my bachelor's in psychology at UCSB with a focus in child development and neurodiversity, and am excited to begin my master's in social welfare at UCLA in fall 2026. I am passionate about positive youth development, and in my recent professional roles, I have provided ABA support to neurodiverse kids ages 3-16, infant development therapy for kids ages 0-3, and served as a case manager at a 24hr youth shelter for 12-17 year olds. Personally, I am an easily excited individual who enjoys the outdoors, animals, the beach, and learning new things!
