Hello, My name is Lori. I'm a fun, loving, energetic Nanny/Sitter with more than 30 years experience. I'm married and have two boys of my own, ages 17 and 11. I don't mind commuting. This year will be my 32nd winter in Tahoe and I'm very confident driving in the snow. A little about me.... I'm honest, very reliable, and always on time. I love kids and they love me. Childcare is my chosen profession, and I love it. I had a licensed daycare in my home for 6 years. I cared for 7 children, including infants through age 12. I've also worked at a large daycare center. The majority of my career I've worked as a Nanny. I'm great with kids of all ages. Several families have given me the nickname "baby whisperer". I love arts and crafts, reading, music, and playing games. Though I'll admit, if the weather is good, I prefer to be outside with the kids. I love the outdoors. I snowboard in the winter, hike year round, and I love to mountain bike, swim, and paddle board during the summer. I enjoy doing all of these activities with kids too if they're interested. Most of the time, with younger kids, we take walks, play at the beach during summer and go sledding and play in the snow during winter. It's really up to the kids, and their ages and interests. Hi, I’m Illyahna, I am the oldest for 6 kids with 3 of the being special needs. I love working with kids, I have around 7 years of experience through church and a professional daycare. And 17 years of being a sibling. I have always helped take for a kids and animals and have about 3 years of helping take of seniors. I am great with helping kids with homework and online classes. I can help kids learn instruments or help teach them how to cook! I enjoy spending time outside, and playing learning games!

I raised two wonderful humans to adulthood, and have been teaching high school English for 15 years while earning numerous awards and commendations. I also come trained as a first responder through 15 years of experience with Search and Rescue which includes certification as EMR (including First Aid, CPR, and AED for infants through adults) as well as numerous awards and commendations. I volunteered for 10 years in the youth program at my church (Calvary Chapel, Reno/Sparks), worked as the lead teacher of the school-age summer program at Little Knights and Maidens, led the youth program at my local library for many years, and led my own children through myriad sports and activities (soccer, dance, 4H, Scouts, etc). As my own children are recently off to college, I find myself with more time on my hands, and I would love to serve my community while making some extra tuition money for my own kids.
