Hi Parents! I am CPR and First Aid certified. I'm a new parent to a beautiful nine month old. I am interested in providing in-home care to one or two other children part time. We have a beautiful home with lots of opportunities to play and learn, including cooking, time in the garden, reading, and doing art. We are close to playgrounds and parks! I love being goofy and having fun with kids and love arts and crafts and sensory play. I am comfortable helping out with homework and study skills.

Hello! I am Melissa. I am a very friendly, sociable, creative, and patient person. I have worked for 10 years as a babysitter, nanny, daycare and I camp. I have experience with children of all ages (from 1 month to 10 years old). I love to do creative things like crafts, drawing, reading, or writing our own stories, as well as sports things like swimming, playing ball, or going to the playground. Cooking and baking is also good thing to do with children because they can prepare different foods and develop a feeling for healthy food🍐🍎🍏🥦. I would love to do outdoor activities with them like camping, horse riding, or hiking, as well as teach them healthy habits and be responsible with their time. I would like to do a cultural exchange and I could even teach them a little Spanish. As for the ages of the children, I have different activities in mind. For babies, I want children to progress in their autonomy, so it will be necessary to ensure that their natural curiosity is not slowed down, as long as their safety or that of others is not endangered. I would like to help them with the control of head movements, visual, manual, auditory perceptual coordination, and adaptation of the senses and I would love to work with them to stimulate their memory. I also would follow the nap schedule during the day or at night as it is very important for his growth.

I absolutely love kids at all ages, and I’m a sucker for new borns! When I was young, I used to babysit all of the neighborhood kids and get nanny jobs with close friends, neighbors, and family. I am a black belt in karate and used to teach the toddler class after school. My instructor chose me because the kiddos loved me! As a single mom with my oldest (who is now 19), and him having life threatening asthma from birth, I was very hands on and hyper attentive to his needs. Being the sole person responsible for his care, medication, routines, and lifestyle activities within his capacity, I was very patient, loving, and supportive with him physically, mentally, and emotionally. It wasn’t easy but I loved being there for him and I still do! I have an almost 4 year old toddler now and I’m very hands on with him as well. As a certified Life Coach who specializes in emotional care and regulation, I work with mom’s and families to heal relational trauma and help them to create healthy dynamics between the parent and children, as well as helping mom’s especially build deep connections with their kids and find healthy ways to manage meltdowns and tantrums through connection vs correction and harsh punishments. It is a deep passion of mine to work with families and offer support through nanny services as well as creating a peaceful home environment for everyone in the household. Anything I can do to make life easier for you, I’m open for it!
