I am a pediatric dental assistant with a strong passion for working with children and helping them feel comfortable and cared for. Before working in dentistry, I worked at a special needs office for children, where I gained valuable experience supporting kids with different needs and personalities. I also have a lot of personal experience caring for children. I have an eight-year-old brother who I’ve helped care for throughout his life, and my husband’s parents recently welcomed a baby boy who is now four months old. I spend a lot of time with him and truly enjoy being around children of all ages. I was recently thinking of a way to assist parents (single parents), as a mom whose had both married and single years. Then, I came across UrbanSitters. I have four children, who are now all adults. For sure, there were those who assisted me during the single years with my children, when they were little, and I would like to do the same for other parents in return. Sometimes parents need a little assistance with running errands, pick-ups, of just have a sitter sit some hours so parents can take a breather and free up more time for family time. I have an associates degree in medical administration and finishing up a bachelor degree in criminal justice. I have worked in the business, medical and judicial settings, pretty much since graduating high school. Children are precious gifts and are naturally funny at times, looking to explore their new world safely. I loved taking care of my own children, as well as relatives and friends children. I love reading, music, movies, and the outdoors. My availability is pretty flexible but it changes.
