Hi! My name is Tori Lawson, I am 20 years old and I am going into my senior year at the University of Alabama. I am going back to school on August 14th so I am completely available until then. I have experience babysitting my younger cousins, I have been babysitting them since I was 13 years old. I also worked as a counselor for a summer camp. There, I was taking care of children ages 3-14, while mainly focusing on children ages 6-10. I am absolutely a dog lover!! I have a small shish tzu at home, but am very comfortable with dogs of any size and age! I also take care of my sister’s cats when she is away from home so I would be comfortable helping out with cats as well. I do not have any experience in senior caretaking, however I would love to help out with driving to appointments, cooking dinner, or other tasks the job may require. I am also happy to work as a household assistant with cooking, cleaning, or whatever you might need!! One thing to know about me is that I am currently majoring in psychology, as well as minoring in sociology and neuroscience. I plan to continue my education and pursue a career in child psychology, where I will be able to help children work through problems and guide them to a better future for themselves.

I have experience caring for school-age children, about 4 years old and up, and I’m also comfortable caring for dogs of all breeds and sizes. With kids, I’m happy to help with playtime, crafts, outdoor activities, homework, meals, and keeping their normal routine going. I try to be patient, calm, and easygoing while still making sure everyone is safe and cared for. I also love dogs and have experience with walking, feeding, playing, and giving them attention based on their personality and needs. I’m comfortable with different energy levels and know how important it is to follow each family’s routine. Families can expect me to be dependable, respectful of their home, and attentive to both children and pets.

I work full-time in architecture and have over 20 years of experience caring for children of all ages and needs, from newborns through teens. I enjoy arts and crafts, science experiments, cooking, and active play, and I thoughtfully adapt my care to each child and family. I’m CPR certified with a clean driving record. My experience includes light household chores, meal prep, school pick-ups and drop-offs, bedtime routines, homework help, and supporting multiples and children with special needs. I currently volunteer with Big Brothers Big Sisters (6.5 years) and serve on the board of NOMAct, where I chair K–12 outreach and lead fun, hands-on architectural learning for kids.

I’m a warm, reliable, and experienced caregiver who truly enjoys working with children. Much of my experience comes from being deeply involved in caring for my four nieces and four nephews from infancy through their high school years and beyond. While not day-to-day, my involvement has been extensive and consistent during the times I was needed, full weekends, outings, and family trips where I managed meals, activities, errands, and daily routines. During those periods, I naturally stepped in as an extension of their parents, creating a calm, structured, and engaging environment. Children connect with me easily - I’m patient, attentive, and genuinely present, which helps them feel comfortable and at ease. I focus on keeping children engaged, active, and cared for, whether that’s preparing simple meals, getting outside, playing games, helping with homework, or creating a calm, easy rhythm at home. Outside of caregiving, I run a home organizing and downsizing business, which reflects my thoughtful, organized, and detail-oriented approach. Hello! My name is Lauren - I am a junior at the Ohio State University. I am offering child care, house sitting, and pet care. I have been babysitting kids on and off since I was around 15! Along with that I have taken care of many pets, mostly dogs since a very young age. I was raised with two sisters and a wonderful mother!
