Hi families! 😊 I first came to the U.S. as an Au Pair and cared for wonderful children from June 2019 to December 2023 Since then, I’ve continued working full-time as a nanny for infants and toddlers in the D.C. area, supporting families with daily routines, developmental play, and bilingual learning. I also take on occasional evening, weekend and holidays babysitting for local families. I’m very patient, kind, and reliable, also I truly enjoy helping children feel safe, supported, and happy. I’m a native Spanish speaker, fluent in English, and understand Portuguese well — so I’m happy to support bilingual families! I’m currently looking for a full time job and occasional babysitting opportunities and love working with families who value kindness, communication, and trust. Looking forward to meeting you! 💛 Mirian

Mirian was AMAZING! She filled in last minute to take care of my dog Aspen. She was very communicative and flexible. Highly recommend!

Hello there! My name is Brenda, and I’m from Colombia. I’m excited to share that I’m offering childcare services. I’ve been working with children for eight years now, and I’m currently a nanny in Arlington, Virginia. I’m taking care of three boys who are 10, 12, and 13 years old. Before this family, I had the privilege of caring for a baby who was just 10 months old. I took care of him until he was 2 and a half years old. I’ve gained a lot of experience with children. I had worked with really good families that they’ll happy to give you references about my job and my personality. Usually my responsibilities are only about the kids like, cook, drive, play, do crafts and to tutoring.

Brenda was my children’s nanny for the summer (boy, 9, and girl, 6). Brenda was absolutely wonderful and I can’t recommend her enough! She was punctual, professional, and very engaging with the children. She was responsible for getting the kids ready for the day, making them meals, driving them, and playing with them – among other things. My kids loved playing both indoors and outdoors with Brenda. They did a variety of fun activities, including arts/crafts, games, and going to the pool. I should add that my children’s father and I recently separated, and Brenda went back and forth between our two homes seamlessly. The kids had a terrific summer with her, and I highly recommend her as a nanny and babysitter.
