I love watching dogs and watching them inspired me to get a puppy of my own! Dogs must get along with my puppy and he loves to play! Long walk and the dog park are guaranteed with me.

As a mother of a 21-year-old son now in college, I bring over two decades of hands-on experience in parenting, caregiving, and supporting children’s growth and development. Throughout my son’s childhood, I was actively involved in his school community as a “team mom,” field trip chaperone, classroom volunteer, and consistent presence at school and extracurricular events. Before and after my son’s birth, I worked with school-age children and daycare programs on military bases in Florida and New Mexico. I also have extensive experience providing babysitting support for families and friends, stepping in for both regular care and occasional coverage when needed. As a parent, I understand the importance of structure, consistency, and attention to individual household routines. I’m mindful of dietary needs, preferences, and any family-specific guidelines, and I always aim to create a balance between fun and structure while respecting each family’s expectations. I recognize that every household operates differently and adjust my approach accordingly. Parenthood has also taught me flexibility and calm problem-solving. I’m comfortable handling unexpected situations with patience and responsibility, addressing minor issues independently while keeping parents informed when something requires their attention. I hold an undergraduate degree in Psychology with a focus on child and adolescent development, which strengthens my understanding of behavior, communication, and age-appropriate engagement. I have a combined twenty years experience in education and care. I have provided services for infant, pre-k, elementary school, middle and high school, adult learners and elderly. Also, I have experience providing services and care to those in memory care facilities. Additionally, I am an avid animal lover and activist (I have two animal babies of my own). I have experience caring for large and small breed dogs, cats, non exotic birds, and ferrets.

I am a 4th year Optometry Student and Nova Southeastern University. I have some experience children more so from a clinical optometry and vision therapy standpoint. I believe this to be a unique skill set that allows me to more observant of your child. I am CPR certified as it is required for my profession. I have five younger cousins that I’ve had the privilege to watch and help take care over the years. I have a little bit of experience as a caretaker as I was briefly my grandmother’s caretaker up until her passing. My boyfriend and I have a dog so I’m comfortable taking care and being around them. I believe I would describe myself as dedicated and passionate. With children, I can be very fun but I also know when it is necessary to be serious.
