I have over a decade of experience caring for children from birth through young adults. I have virtually infinite patience, am attentive, interactive, and always do my best to exceed the expectations of the families I work with. I am a non-smoker, have reliable transportation, and am frequently available for evening, weekend, and overnight care on short notice. Prior to attending college and pursuing my bachelor's degree in business administration, I was contemplating a career in education, completed training to become a preschool teacher, and began babysitting for several local families. Though I am now in the information technology field full-time I continue to provide childcare services as my schedule allows. I specialize in last minute care, families visiting the area, date nights, one time, and occasional evening and weekend care needs and always welcome creative assignments. I'm fine with caring for mildly ill children and would be willing to discuss other specialty situations such as working with special needs children and traveling with children on a case by case basis. I enjoy everything from art projects and bedtime stories with a preschooler to subtly shadowing a teen who needs supervision while out of the house. I have a very mild-mannered personality, but enforce rules as necessary. I take safety seriously and have current certification in Infant/Child/Adult CPR and First Aid, as well as specialty training for water-based emergency situations and Epi-Pen administration. Hello! I am currently studying for medical school and am working as a scribe full-time, but am looking for some extra work hours. I recently graduated from USF with a Master’s degree in public health. I have my BS in psychology/pre-med from Northwestern University. I have been babysitting since I was 12 years old when I received my safe sitter license. I am certified in CPR as a certified nursing assistant and lifeguard. Hi! My name is Ashley, I’m going into my junior year of college next semester, and I’m 20 years old. I’m looking to babysit/nanny/dog sit this summer! I dog sat and occasionally baby sat for a family my first year of college but I have never formally had a job as a babysitter- however I’ve had jobs and done volunteering that have dealt with kids. I worked in a uniform clothing store last year. The clothing store had uniforms for many private schools and I would help children pick out their uniforms. I volunteered for 6 years every summer for vacation bible school and was in charge of a group of kids each week.
