I worked as a Lead Teacher and Assistant Director at a bilingual international daycare, creating a safe, nurturing, and engaging environment for children to learn and grow. Hi! I’m Sloan and I’m from NC but I currently live here in Miami for college! I absolutely adore kids and I have worked with them for many years! I’ve babysat kids in my neighborhood of all ages and in high school, I took classes where I had the opportunity to learn all about children and their development and needs through the Early Childhood Education class which also allowed me to work everyday with the kids in the preschool that was attached to my high school! I also took a Teacher Cadet class where I picked to work with Kindergarteners where I had to make lesson plans and teach the class! I spent every morning with them for 9 weeks and would spend any of my extra days working with them as well!

My background is very family-oriented. I have spent years caring for children, including babysitting my cousins, nieces, nephews, and friends’ kids. I also have a strong love for animals. I have three pets of my own and have cared for others’ pets as well. I served in the military for five years, which taught me discipline, responsibility, and the importance of reliability. Since then, I have been in school and am currently working toward my master’s degree in social work. I am trustworthy, empathetic, and enjoy helping others.
