I dog sat and occasionally baby sat for a family my first year of college but I have never formally had a job as a babysitter- however I’ve had jobs and done volunteering that have dealt with kids. I worked in a uniform clothing store last year. The clothing store had uniforms for many private schools and I would help children pick out their uniforms. I volunteered for 6 years every summer for vacation bible school and was in charge of a group of kids each week. I can drive kids (I have a car), am very good at arts and crafts, can tutor, and I’m athletic so I like outdoor activities. I am very patient, caring, kind, respectful, and easy to work with. Volunteered at Camp Jenny - an organization that gives children from an impoverished community an overnight summer camp experience that includes a variety of activities, sports and team-building exercises. At Camp Jenny, I was responsible for overnight care and supervision of children ages 7–8 and assisted with daily camp activities and routines. Hello!! My name is Alyssa. I’m currently a nursing student off for summer looking for opportunities to babysit when my schedule allows. As of right now I have full availability on weekdays/most weekends but my schedule will change in August as the fall semester begins. Experience: I’ve worked as a sub and in infant/toddler childcare back home. I also was a soccer coach for littles (1-7y/o) my freshman year of college with Happy Feet! This past year I have been occupied with nursing school and clinical rotations aiding in patient care. I grew up with two younger siblings and have watched over many younger cousins. I’m comfortable with both dogs and cats (as long as they are comfortable with me). I do not mind participating in household chores as needed! I love crafting, going on walks and am very attentive and organized. I also have my BLS certification and get regular background checks/drug tests, etc. for my nursing program :)
