Hello to all the beautiful families out there! My name is Farrah, and I am a current Doctor of Chiropractic student who has always loved caregiving. Since the age of 13, I partook in caregiving services for children ages three mos -16 years of age and seniors under my unofficial company name, FairBear Cares Babysitting Services. Fun fact, the name FairBear came from the babies I used to teach dance to for about 4-5 years while in high school. They were too young to enunciate my name, so they called me "Miss Faywuh or Miss Fare." In Whitney Houston's song, The Greatest Love of All, she said, "I believe the children are our future," and that gives a glimpse of why caregiving is so special to me. The joy and authenticity of kids is so refreshing and honestly an inspiration to me. I also live to serve, so giving back in any capacity is my true heartthrob. With that being said, I have experience in the healthcare field from working in Long-term acute care facilities and memory care senior homes, enabling me to sharpen skills such as empathy, patience, and being more nurturing to the patients and their families. I absolutely LOVE transforming a caregiving experience, so it is immersive, engaging, and peaceful for those being looked after. I am grateful for you considering me for the opportunity to love on your Loved ones. I wish you a remarkable rest of your day. Light and Love! ~Farrah

$15 per hour for 1 child
Booked by 1 family in Atlanta, GA

I'd describe my personality as fun, attentive, and caring. I like working with kids because I grew up in a pretty large family and love being a part of the development and growth of children! I love seeing the moment a new skill or trait clicks for them, and I love helping them turn into the people they were created to be! I started working with kids in middle school through babysitting and working in the church nursery and kids classes. I currently serve as the deacon of kids ministry at my church and regularly serve in child care on Sunday mornings. I worked as a full time nanny for a few months after graduating college. I've been babysitting and nannying off and on since then, and most recently worked as an afterschool program coordinator with elementary and middle school students. I have experience with all ages, but especially love to care for toddlers and young elementary. In my spare time, I like to read lots of fun books, watch movies, and go for walks! I also love music and love to attend concerts in the Atlanta area!

Erica $25 per hour for 1 child

I have had the pleasure of providing childcare to some of the sweetest families for over 20 years! I have been trained in First Aid and CPR for adults and children. I am an educator, I have developed children's programs for my church and community, and have a passion for early child development and child care. During college and graduate school I enjoyed providing extra help to families in need - I became an evening and overnight Nanny for medical residents and physicians. I have experience caring for newborns, children of all ages, disabled children and senior citizens. I'm a new resident to Atlanta and currently work in Clinical Research during the day. My evenings are free, so I decided to extend help to families that need a safe and trustworthy evening Nanny.

Kaelah $18 per hour for 1 child

Hello! My name is Kaelah, I'm 24 years old and I love caring for children! I have a great passion for being a safe and trusted person in the lives of little ones. I'm also very compassionate and patient. I have extensive experience both in casual babysitting and professional childcare, including special needs care. Child development and psychology has been a very important interest of mine, one which I even research and expand my knowledge on for fun in my free time, since high school. My experience with children ranges in ages from infancy to Middle School, with birth-age 5 being my most experienced area of my educational & professional history. I also have 1 year of experience as a caretaker of teenagers with severe mental health & behavioral disorders in a group home setting. Social Emotional Development is just as important to me as academic development, and I believe that teaching children how to regulate their emotions and behave empathetically towards others alongside the common core subjects like math and reading will help them for any path they take in life. I have a diploma from a 2 year vocational school where I attended the early childhood education program and graduated from that program with a 3.4 GPA. I have CPR/First Aid/AED certification for all ages, and I have Continuing Education Credits such as: -certification in trauma informed care -certified Epi-Pen administration -completed 10hr Health & Safety Course for Georgia childcare providers -certifications in social emotional, cognitive and physical development from birth-age 5 Comfort, communication, transparency, safety, and all family members in the home (parents included) feeling cared for & having their needs relating to childcare met are my top priorities. As a mother myself, it is my goal to give the children I work with, and their parents, peace of mind in their childcare arrangements. *about my rates* they can be negotiated if your family cannot securely afford $18/hr for 1 child or $21/hr for two children. As much as possible while still ensuring that I can provide for what my family needs, I am a firm believer that finances should not be a heavy barrier to receiving safe, trustworthy and compassionate childcare.

Kaitlyn $17 per hour for 1 child

Hi! My name is Kaitlyn, and I’ve been babysitting since I was 13. Over the years, I’ve had the joy of working with children of all ages, and I’ve also served as a camp counselor and certified lifeguard—experiences that have taught me how to create a fun, safe, and supportive environment for kids. In addition to babysitting, I frequently dog sit and genuinely love caring for both children and pets. I’m punctual, dependable, and caring.
