Hi there! My name is Jessica and I am a high school teacher within Chicago Public Schools. I majored in history education and went on to earn my Master's in Instructional Design, along with an additional certification in special education. I have a wealth of experience working with young people in many capacities, including teaching, tutoring, babysitting, nannying, and coaching varsity volleyball. I am truly passionate about helping children and teens learn, grow, and have fun! Because of my background, I am highly skilled in helping kids manage their behavior and emotions in a positive way that includes them in the process. Hi! I have worked with children of all ages for over 10 years. My mother established her career in early childhood in the 90's and has successfully stayed in business for over 20 years. I have worked in the early childhood field since 2016. I have also worked in the legal field supporting lawyers who specialize in the safety and upbringing of children (GAL). I have cared for all age groups. I am also a university graduate. I teach and lead with love, and because of it, I still have beautiful relationships with all of the children who have been in my care, many now teenagers andyoung adults! My experience as a child care provider has included caring for children at hotels while their parents went out for a night on the town (and bringing something fun to help the transition be easier for parents and their children). I love kids because they are JUST awesome! Also, I am always up for negotiating when it comes to cost of childcare.

I'm a loving aunt to several nieces and nephews, as well as a big animal lover with two cats of my own! I love engaging with children's curiosity and interests. Hi! My name is Catie, and I'm a dedicated caregiver with a passion for supporting children's development. I'm 23 years old with a Bachelor's degree in Psychology from Carleton College and am preparing to pursue a doctorate in Clinical Psychology in August. Currently, I work at a therapeutic preschool for children with developmental disabilities, where I've gained hands-on experience and skills in providing personalized support. With about four years of childcare experience, including one year with children on the Autism spectrum, I bring a compassionate, informed approach to caregiving. I'm CPR and First-Aid Certified and trained as an EMT, ensuring a safe environment for your child. Although I work weekdays from 8:30 a.m. to 5:00 pm, I'm available for babysitting on weekends or weekday evenings.
